Chapter 15

Valerie's POV

"Bye Mayay!" I call Maya her special nickname as I exit the elevator to meet Niall. Largo De Lune on the Sixth Floor. I am stumbling in my ice blue Toms as I walk to the maitre'd. 

"Name please?"

"Valerie Doze," I shyly reply. "Meeting Niall Horan."

"Ah yes. Follow me!" The Maitre'd says as he leads me into the restaurant, and then back out onto a balcony. He pulls out a chair and I sit down. Alone. I am the only one on this balcony. Niall must be running a little late.

I am jolted out of my thoughts as I hear a chord on a guitar being played.

"Hey I just met you! And this is crazy... But here's my number. So Call Me Maybe!" I hear a familiar Irish accent sing. I turn around to find Niall grinning in a blue button down shirt and khakis. He continues to serenade me with the most ridiculous, annoying song ever, and i can't help but laugh!

"That song is so fricken annoying!" Niall gleefully whispers when he is done.

"Well I think you made it a whole lot better!" I say whispering back.

Niall pecks me on the cheek as he sits down across from me. Just then, the maitre'd brings out a table covered with different snacky foods and desserts. 

"Enjoy your own private buffet!" He calls as he exits the balcony. Nialler takes my hand, pulls me to my feet, and walks me over to the buffet table. Being the gentlemen he is, Niall helps me choose what I want to eat before serving himself. We both end up with plates laden with food! Breaking the silence caused by our eating, Niall takes up his guitar again and starts playing another song I recognize. 

"The day I first met you, you told me you'd never fall in love." It is Give Your Heart a Break by Demi Lovato. "Don't wanna break your heart! Wanna give your heart a break! I know you're scared its wrong, like you might make a mistake!" Niall is singing it like he wrote the words, and means every single one of them. 

By the time he finishes I am blushing so hard that my face probably looks like an overripe tomato.

"Unfortunately babe, I can't sign. But that was amazing!" I say to Niall. He smiles, flashing his braces at me. "You know?" I randomly begin. "I only know to people who can pull off the braces look." Niall looks at me confused. "Ellery, and You," I finish. Niall begins laughing in his adorable way and I can't help but join in. Niall slowly stops his laughter as he pulls out a small, square box. He shyly opens it and hands it to me. I look inside it and gasp, seeing a beautiful sterling silver necklace. It is a four leaf clover with little diamonds sparkling inside it.

"I err thought it could remind you of me... Like when I am away from you," Niall awkwardly explains.

"Its perfect!" I whisper in awe. "And just so you know, you are my favorite Irish boy."

Niall leans across to me and starts kissing me gently. I inhale his cologne, hoping the moment will never end. But it does, as he brings his kisses from my lips, down my neck, and to my hand. Smiling, he takes my hand and we walk into the elevator. I make my move, leaning in and kissing him as we ride down to the third floor. I guess we are both somewhat awkward at this whole kissing thing since this is our first serious relationship. I can tell Niall doesn't mind, and neither do I. The elevator doors open and we walk down the hallway to our rooms. Cheerfully, Niall plants one final smooch on my forehead, whispers "Goodnight my beautiful princess!", and enters his room. Sighing I open mine. No one else is in the room so I get into my PJ's and crawl into bed. After saying my prayers, I think of one word I can sum up my entire night to El and Maya with. 

Perfect. The only word I can use. Perfect.
