49) Happily ever after

Gregory POV

We somehow managed to get out of the underground area, underneath our beautiful home called Mega Pizza Plex. All of us except... Jazz, my mother. Well adopted mother, but she has shown nothing but kindness to me. Gave me the love only a mother can do.

''Come on Gregory.'' Called out Simon as we go for elevator to the main lobby, to exit the building. He have handed over Vanessa to Bonnie. ''I have called the emergency line and they are coming to check the place for any threatening unstable ground level.''

''And not Jazz?'' I ask back, really trying to hold my tears back, while I hold Freddy's hand. Holding my big brothers hand. My words made Simon flinched, but he still walk up the escalator to the elevator.

''She... She would want us to be safe... And she is tuff, strong, so if she... survived, will she come back to us.'' Answer Simon, but I hear the sadden tone in his voice. He is also dreading the lost of his best friend.

''Pl-Please don't say that.'' I mumble and look down. I feel Freddy tighten his grib on my hand, trying to comfort me. The elevator doors open and we were about to walk in, when suddenly the ground starts to shake. We all freeze on the spot and look around for any cracks on the wall or the floor. Then we hear the sickening sound of a crack, right at the middle of the atrium. The animatronics steps in front of me and Simon, in order to protect us, but I can still see through them. The cracks spread out and starts creating an opening.

''We must get out of here.'' Suggest Freddy to Simon, who nodded and start pushing me into the elevator. At first, I didn't fight back, but when I look t the opening on the floor, do I see a familiar metal thing spurting out of the ground. A sudden flashback to my enteraction with my supposed dad, there was this metal thing that was coming through some tunnels and vents. It is the same thing.

''Wait.'' I call out and get out of Simon's grib and run under the animatronics, then down the escalator.

''Gregory.'' Call out my family, but I just ignore them and run a bit closer to the hole. I stop a few meter away from it, for safety, as I watch the metal thing become bigger and multiplies. Then something dusty white burst out high into the air and slowly turn around to reveal its head.

''I remember you.'' I whisper to myself as the head inch closer to me. Its face plates move a little, but the head move back when it see the animatronics running towards me. It retreat its head back a little, looking at everyone. 

''Gregory, don't move.'' Warn Simon worried for me, but that is what I am already doing. Before any of us can say or do anything, retreat the head back into the hole. The metal things went back too, only for a bundle of it to come out of the hole. We step back a little, afraid that it would attack us, but not at all. Instead, it unravel itself and reveal something shocking.

''MOM.'' I cheered and jump right at her. She grunted as I hug her tight. Frighten that I might lose her again.

''Gregory, you are squeezing the air out of me.'' Grunt Jazz, but slowly sit up. But a think I noticed, is that she isn't hugging me back.

''Gregory, give her some space.'' Says Freddy and pull me off of her. Monty and Foxy help Jazz get off the weird metal things. That is where I noticed her hands are cupped together, like she is has captured a small bug.

''Th-Thanks.'' Thanked Jazz as she tip back and forth, probably a bit dizzy. The two animatronics quickly stands on each side and help her stand straight.

''What happened to you?'' Ask Simon and approach Jazz carefully. He then scanned her and noticed all the bruises and her slight liftet leg. ''You need medical attention. The ambulance should be here by now.''
