45) Vanessa

Jazz POV

''NOW.'' I yell and sprint pass the six animatronics and follow the small cleared path made by Monty. Simon and Gregory are following right behind me and keep their eyes open for anything. The path was slowly filling up with dead rouge staff bots, so we have to either jump over or run around them, and also making sure to stay a distance from the animatronics, so we won't become their next target.

''How will you stop them, when they are done?'' Ask Simon and jump over the last pile of spare parts.

''Don't worry about that.'' I call back and run down the now empty hallway.

''But, where are we going?'' Ask Gregory next, running right beside me.

''We are following Charlotte. She is guiding us back to that ruined office, where Vanny is currently is.'' I answer the boy and keep a close eye to the floating spirit of the ghost girl.

''Then how are we gonna capture her, so you can exorcist her?'' Ask Simon right away, getting ready to fight her if necessary. I don't answer right away, since we are nearing a broken metal door. We stands right in front of it, to get ready to fight that psycho. 

''Simply an ambush.'' I finally answer him and slowly lift up the metal door.

''WATCH OUT.'' Exclaim Gregory right as he look through the door, but I already knew this would happen, so I kicked some dust to make a small mist, then kick the stomach of Vanny.

''Tackle her.'' I call out to my two boys, keeping the door open for them. Simon immediately do as I say and litterally jump right at Vanny, tackling her to the ground. Gregory hesitated a little, but when he saw Simon holding down Vanny, he finally got the gut to run past her and take away the big kitchen knife. I get on the other side of the door and let it closed, so that I can help them.

''Get off of me.'' Growl Vanny under Simon's hold, trying to wrestle him off of her, but in vain.

''Yeah, right.'' Says Simon sarcastic and make sure his hands keeps her arms down, and knees keeping her legs down. ''Hurry up Jazz.''

''I know, don't rush me.'' I crumble back at him and kneel above Vanny, with her head between my knees. 

''You will never succes.'' Threaten Vanny, still struggling to get free from Simon's grab. I just roll my eyes and put my hands on each side of the bunny mask.

''Gregory, when Jazz starts the exorcist, do we have to be completely silent, so stay on guard.'' Explain Simon, looking up at the slightly scared boy. I take off the mask and see the face of the security guard Vanessa, but with a furious look in her eyes.

''You will never defeat him.'' Growl Vanny while I put my hands on her head to keep her still, so I can do the exorcist.

''I don't attend on doing that right now.'' I calmly tell her and look right into her eyes, catching her attention and making sure she can't look away. Time to my very own exorcist, to release Vanessa from William's mind control. And my way, is meditation. ''Look into my eyes. Hear my voice. Calm down and take deep breaths. Feel yourself fall into a calm state. See yourself in your happy place.''

''N-No... I w-won't.'' Denied Vanessa, trying to look away, but she always look back into my eyes.

''You are stronger than IT, Vanessa. You are the one in control, not Vanny. Not Glitchtrap.'' I continue, being a bit more firm and feel an energy in my hands, which means, I have found the source of Vanessa second personality. Time to get it out. ''Breath with me, Vanessa. Collect your strength, then push away the voices in your head.''

''B-But... They are right... I-I am the reason... that my m-mother is g-g-gone...'' Whine Vanessa, really trying to figure out who is right.

''No, you are not. It never was your fault. But these voices will keep bugging you, until you forgive yourself.'' I explain to her and feel the energy get stronger, trying to fight against me. ''The first step to inner peace, is to admit your mistakes and move on... And you won't be alone. There are people, who can help you, so you have to be strong, Vanessa. Be strong, for your mother.''

''M-Mom.'' Mumble Vanessa and slowly let tears fall down from her eyes.

''Yes. Fight for her. Fight for YOU.'' I cheered on to keep motivate her. Vanessa slowly starts breathing harder as she uses her strength to push all evil out of her. ''That is it, Vanessa. Keep going.''

''Okay.'' Mumble Simon to himself, since Vanessa is twitching like she is having a seizure. But I keep my focus on Vanessa, knowing that Simon can keep her still.

''GAAAHHH.'' Scream Vanessa as I see some black smoke exit her mouth and into the air.

''Keep going. It is almost out.'' I cheer for her and get ready to catch the smoke, like a child catching a bug. Just waiting for something very special...

''Gaugh.'' Couched Vanessa and I see a small glitchy purple ball exit her mouth and try to escape past Gregory. I immediately let go of Vanessa and sprint after it, making sure it won't get away. It was getting closer to a hole on the wall, so I leap to it, both hands reaching out for it and try to cup it in like a bug.

''Jazz. Are you alright?'' Ask Gregory worried and run over to me, laying flat on the floor. I groaned and look at my cupped hands and fell something moving inside... I caught it... I caught the cursing aura that was inside of Vanessa. Creating Vanny.

''I... I am fine. But I caught it. She is free now.'' I inform and slowly gets excited that I succeeded this. I look back to Simon, to see him attention to an unconscious Vanessa. ''Oh no... Did I..?''

''No. She is alright, but I don't think she will wake up anytime soon. And it probably would be for the best, to get her to a hospital.'' Suggest Simon and carefully lifting up Vanessa into his arms.

''What did you caught?'' Ask Gregory curious, looking at my cupped hands. But when he get too close, do I move back.

''The cursed energy that created Vanny. Now Vanessa is completely free from William's grab.'' I explain to the boy and keep my hands cupped together. ''Now I need to destroy this, so don't be anywhere near me.''

''O-Okay,'' Says Gregory and step closer to Simon. I slightly nodded and take a deep breath to better concentrate my energy to destroy this cursed orb. I slowly closing the hands together, making the space more tighter by the second. Slowly the orb gets squashed.

''It is strong.'' I admit and actually struggle to completely squeeze it. 

*Pop*

That pop is the sound I was waiting for. That is the sound that means, that the curse orb is destroyed forever. I slowly uncup my hands to have a look, and sure enough, is it completely gone.

''What was that?'' Ask Gregory shocked, which means, that he heard the pop too.

''That was the sound, of the curse being destroyed.'' I inform the boy and smirked at my own strength.

''Wow... Your power is amazing.'' Mumble Gregory amazed of my ability to see and destroy the paranormal. I just smile at the boy, when an alarming crashing sound from the metal door takes our attention. A huge dent is on the door. Then another one appeared.

''Oh no... Seems like the animatronics are out of rouge staff bots.'' I awkwardly say, which makes Simon run away from the metal door.

''What are we gonna do now?'' Ask Gregory and hug me from the side, still holding the knife. I look down at it and take it away from, just so he won't accidently hurt me.

''You said you know how to stop them.'' Remind Simon, defiantly glaring behind me.

''Don't pressure me... But yeah, I know how to stop them... And it is actually ridiculous.'' I slowly admit and get into a defense position. ''Just stand back guys... And never mock me or mentioning this ever again, with what I am about to do.''

''I really don't like the sound of that.'' Admit Gregory and walk back to Simon. They both walk further back and actually enter the broken office room. Another dent appear on the door and it gets slightly off the wall, letting me see the red glowing eyes of the six animatronics.

''Here goes nothing.''
