9) Grand Reopening

Gregory POV

I look at myself on the mirror, checking out my new clothes. It is a little formal, but relaxing at the same time. A suit jacket, with a grey t-shirt underneath, and a pair of jeans. Simon want me and Jazz to dress well for the grand reopening. Not too well, like to a party, but not to relaxed when staying at home and watch movie all day... Well, that what he said. I have idea what it mean, but luckily does Jazz now and picked out my outfit. I even make sure I have my new Fazwatch on. Jazz manage to make the special Fazwatch in time. She even made one of her project done just yesterday, but apparently it isn't the project for the two extra door in parts and service, which has their own Green Room in Rockstar Row. They are under construction until further notice.

''Gregory, are you ready?'' Call Jazz from outside my room, which is the one I woke up on the first night.

''Yes.'' I call quickly back and pick up my new black backpack with matching style to the animatronics. Neon lightning, stars, hearts, triangles and arrows. But before I could exit my room, move my pillow closer to me, but no one is there.

''Mary-Ann is saying 'Don't forget your gifts'.'' Called Jazz, answering why the pillow move. I have gotten used to objects moving around.

''Thank you Mary-Ann.'' I thanked her for reminding me, as I go to my desk and pick up drawings. These are for the animatronics. I know they have tons of drawings, but I really wanted to give them a welcome back gift and I couldn't think of other things to give them.

''Are you ready now?'' Ask Jazz when I get out of my room. She is wearing a black jumper with colored dots on the end of the pants. I nodded and run out first and get into the car.

*Time skip*

We arrive at the Mega Pizza Plex and I can see a lot of people, standing by the doors. Jazz drive to the back of the mall to a private parking for staff. We go in through the back door and Jazz is bringing some giant box along. We walk through the utility tunnels and enter Rockstar Row.

The animatronics aren't here, since they are getting ready for the big concert. We will be there in a short moment, but Jazz let me put my gifts inside their rooms. To make room for two more, have they removed the wall and the paper cut out on each side of the hallway. I think I know what these rooms are for. The animatronics lives here, so maybe Jazz is making two more animatronics to the band. But what would they be? Maybe one of them would be a bunny, cause Bonnie is missing. And the other might be Foxy, since I have seen cut out figures and posters with him, but never seen him.

''Gregory, hurry up.'' Called Jazz, when I just place the last gift in Freddy's room. I quickly run out of the room and follow her towards the main lounge of the Pizza Plex.

Simon is apparently waiting for us at the stage, going through a list.

''Simon, either move aside or press the bottom so we get to parts and service.'' Called Jazz and put down the box on the stage. Simon didn't even look up from his list, but still pressed the bottom so the platform goes down.

''Are you checking for the last details?'' I ask Simon to start a conversation.

''Jeps.'' Says Simon back and check something out of the list, then look at me. ''Everything is ready for the reopening. Just a small check up on the animatronics and their instrument.''

''That is good to hear.'' I say back, just as the lift stops. Jazz lift up the box again and walk with us towards the big doors to Parts and Service room, where the gang is waiting.

''Alright, the doors will open in 20 minutes.'' Inform Simon to them, while Jazz just place the box inside the cylinder. ''Jazz, is that enough time for the last check up for the show and what the heck is in that box?''

''I am just bringing the Day Care attender.'' Answer Jazz and open op the box. I quickly hide behind Freddy, by pure instinct.

''That things is a freak. How did that even get the approval to be with kids, especially the moon version?'' I asked, peaking out to watch. Jazz just shrugged and remove the lit.

''I don't know why the moon version was accepted, but the sun version was and is kid friendly.'' Point out Jazz and seems to activate it. The box move a little before a hand shot up. It grab the end of the box and I see that it the animatronic is completely mashed together. Because of the weight, fall the box forward and the animatronic is tangled out and stand up completely fine. But I noticed right away that he is different from before. He looks more... friendly.

''Ho, ho, ho. Nice to meet you all.'' Greet the animatronics and isn't waving back and forth like before. It then make a bow to us. ''I am Sunny and I can't wait to meet and take care of the kids visiting my quarter.''

''Why is he so different?'' I asked right away and leave my hiding spot.

''He was crushed and the memory card was fried, so I had to rebuild him, following the original blue prints.'' Explain Jazz and slightly pat Sunny.

''With 'small' changes.'' Mock Simon with a smirk. Jazz roll her eyes at him.

''Sunny is more flexible than before, for the reason that he can entertain kids with it, and his personality card has been programmed so that he will act more like a jester and a clown.'' Explain Jazz of the new changes and go towards the waiting instruments. While so, does Sunny do small gymnastic moves to show his flexibility. ''If he finds a kid injured or sad, will he personally take care of the kid and notify the Day Care staff to come and collect the kid.''

''His voice is much better than before.'' I commend to myself, remembering that he had a high pitched, but rusty, voice.

''Alright.'' Call Simon and look at the Fazwatch. ''10 minutes remaining. You four get ready for the show, Jazz are in charge of monitor the lights during the show and Gregory can... quickly show Sunny to the Day Care so he is ready to welcome the kids.''

''Aww man.'' I moaned, but did as told. 

''If you are quick, can you get some VIP seats.'' Inform Jazz to me, making me look at her confused. ''With me on the show case monitors. It is an awesome view.''

''Deal.'' I say and look at the sun animatronic. ''This way Sunny. I show you to the Day Care.''

''Yippee.'' Cheered Sunny and cartwheel up the stairs, around the cylinder and back. That was actually fun to watch, so I laughed at that.

3rd POV

Kids and families are patiently waiting outside the doors to the Pizza Plex. There are even a camera crew for the news, already broadcasting live of the grand reopening. When the doors finally opens, where there robots staff ready to serve them and guide them to the elevator. The third elevator to the Prize Counter was also open, so that more people could get faster into the main area. Gregory sneakily get past them and meet up with Jaqueline, who is waiting for the upcoming crowd to calm down. She smile at Gregory and talk into her Fazwatch.

''You guys are live on screen in 3... 2... 1.''

(The beginning is recorded and shows on the screens, otherwise is it live. And Freddy does get a malfunction)
