I giggled. "Well if you insist..." I said, while leaning in to kiss him. He immediately kisses me back. I pulled away for a second. "Sometimes I wonder if you actually like me or if your just really high on pain meds right now." I said. He laughed. "Probably both" he said while joining in laughing. "I'm going back to work tomorrow, since your doing better... Okay?" I said. "Yeah, that's fine." He said. I smiled, as his condition was getting better. "Oh and Lexie wants to talk to you, she will be finished clipping an aneurism with shepherd in about 20 minutes." I said. He nodded. "Also, Try talking to your mom. It's not good that you are still not talking to her." I said as I walked out. I went across the road to joes, and I saw Alex there, so I sat down next to him. "How's Avery" he asked, taking a swig of beer. "He's getting better, Callie thinks he will only have about 45% use of his leg after this though, %55 if we're lucky. it was crushed pretty badly. She actually considered amputation, but I didn't tell him that because he might freak out." I said, taking a deep breath. "Wow. You need a drink. My treat." Alex said. I half smiled. "Thanks." Joe got me my usual. Alex and I had a drink, 1 turning into 2, 2 turning into 3, and so on. After we both obviously had way too much, we figured it would be safer to walk back to Alex's apartment, which was just down the block. We laughed and talked as we stumbled to his place. "Do you wanna have sexxxx?" I said. He laughed. "Aren't you with... Avery?" He slurred. "Yes... Well noo.. I don't really knowww" I laughed. "Oh come here Kepner" he said while gesturing me over to him. We violently made out until clothes started coming off.
