ALEX'S POV

My transplant was over. I just woke up and I survived. I had to stay at the hospital for a few more days and come for a checkup weekly.

The second I woke up I checked my phone. What?! I'm a teenager, let me do what I want!

SAM'S POV.

The first text I tried not to worry about, but 2? Who was trying to kill someone I loved. Or even me!

I was on my way home. There was no way I could sleep tonight. Alex would be home in a few days and I could talk to him at school.

I went to my house. I lived with my Aunt and Uncle. My parents died in a plane crash and I would NEVER travel in a plane.

When I was 13 (a year after they died) I cut myself. I was so depressed and I never became open to anyone after that. Except Alex.

I jumped out of the car. I needed to see Alex now.
