*Chapter 30*

Manik's pov.

I - she can never take your place and you know this. But that doesn't mean that I will allow you to lust over her. Or I will let her live her life being uncomfortable under your gaze. You have crossed your limits with Nandini. So you have to apologize to her and you have to make sure that you don't look at her again with lust again.

Abhimanyu - what if I deny?

I - you have your own house then.

He raised his eyebrow and said - so you are asking me to leave your house and stay in my own house for a girl?

I - yes.

I heard a sigh from him and he looked at me with a smile.

Abhimanyu - I am sorry Manik. I went a little too ahead in my play.

I - what play?

Abhimanyu - when you told me that you have bought Nandini I was so angry on you. Buying a girl for your lust is the last thing I expected from you.

He said with so much anger that I looked down in guilt.

Abhimanyu - Manik you are like a child to me but I cannot accept such kind of horrible things from you. I have just kept myself calm because you said that you are committed to her for life or else I would have got you behind the bars for what you did with Nandini.

He stood up from the bed and said - But I don't trust you when it comes to a girl. So I thought to play around a little. I just wanted to know how much you will go against me to keep her safe. At afternoon, your reaction was not up to the mark but right now whatever you said was up to the mark for me. I know what you feel for me. I know what position I have in your life. I know that you cannot live without me. But still you asked me to leave your house for her comfort. This was satisfying for me and now I think that you seriously want Nandini in your life permanently.

He kept his hand on my shoulder and said.

Abhimanyu - I will never ever forgive you for whatever you did but I am happy that you have accepted your mistake and you are trying to change. But I hope you won't repeat whatever you did. Because if you repeat your mistake not just you will loose Nandini but also you will loose me.

I was shocked as he said this. I nodded my head in no immediately as I thought myself living alone. I took a step back and I felt my hands shaking as I thought about them living me all alone.

I - no.. no.. no.

I felt him holding my hand and shaking me a little saying.

Abhimanyu - but we are with you and we will always stay with you.

I heard this and closed my eyes calming myself a little. I opened my eyes and saw him looking at me with tensed face.

Abhimanyu - are you okay?

Manik - I am fine.

Abhimanyu - thank god I thought..

He stopped himself and I just gave him a small smile saying.

Manik - you snapped me back.

Abhimanyu - I am sorry I pushed you till there. I was just angry and so I said that. I will never leave you, never.

I smiled and hugged him tightly.

I - I won't ever allow you.

I heard him laughing and then we broke the hug. He patted my shoulder and said.

Abhimanyu - sleep with me what if you panic at night?

I nodded my head in disbelief and said.

I - You know I don't panic often now and I can't leave Nandini alone.
