*Chapter 32*

Nandini's pov.

I left my bedroom and walked down the stairs only to see Abhimanyu siting on the couch of living room.

I ignored him and thought to go to the library for some book but stopped as I heard Abhimanyu calling my name. I stopped and looked at him with a glare.

I - what?

I asked and definitely sounded a little rude because the smile on his face faded.

Abhimanyu - I am sorry for my behavior yesterday. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable in any way. I was just testing Manik.

I - how can I trust you? How will I know if you are saying the truth or lieing?

Abhimanyu - please have a seat here and lets talk.

I nodded and I myself sat on the couch away from him.

He looked at me and then said.

Abhimanyu - Manik is like my small brother and you are his wife so definitely you are like a sister to me.

I frowned hearing this statement. Sister to him?

I - so this is how you talk to a person whom you consider sister?

Abhimanyu - I swear Nandini, I was just testing Manik. I had no bad intentions for you.

I - why were you testing him?

Abhimanyu - I know him very well Nandini. He thinks that all the girls are born to betray. This is the reason why he never had any love relationships. When he said that he bought you I was shocked and angry but then he said that he regrets it and he is apologetic for it. He even said that he wants your relationship to be permanent. I don't trust him when it comes to a girl so I thought to check him and see if he is actually serious for you or not. So I played a little and he did well. I think he is serious for you. Trust me I was just testing him.

I nodded my head in yes and said.

I - fine I will try to trust you but only because you said that I am like your sister.

He smiled and nodded in yes.

Abhimanyu - may I ask you a question it's little personal if you don't mind.

I nodded my head and he asked.

Abhimanyu - how is his behavior towards you? Is he aggressive or dominanting or abusive or does any sexual assault?

I sighed and replied.

I - he was aggressive and dominanting at the start but he has changed a lot. Now he just behaves like a normal person.

Abhimanyu - so his behavior towards you has changed.

I - a lot.

Abhimanyu - do you know any specific reasons for this change in behavior.

I nodded my head negatively and said.

I - I don't know the reason but this all started when he locked me in my room and he found me unconscious the next day. After that day he changed a lot

Abhimanyu frowned listening to me and then went into deep thinking.

I looked at him trying to understand what he is thinking. Even I am curious to know how Manik changed so much. This was a puzzle to me too and I think Abhimanyu might know the reason behind since he knows Manik so well.

I - do you have any idea why he changed so much?

He nodded his head negatively and said - I have no idea but I can say that his behavior with you is very unusual for me. He never behaved like that with any of his previous sex partners.
