H A R R Y

harry was currently sitting in the gryffindor common room with a few of his friends, and they were all chatting about going to hogsmeade on saturday — which is tomorrow!

although, the brunette's mind was elsewhere. he couldn't stop thinking about draco and how he had probably messed up what they had.

in that moment during lunch, draco needed someone to be there for him — and he wanted harry. but instead of helping him, he pushed him away. hell, draco probably hated him now. and that thought scared harry to death.

while harry was thinking about this, draco was saying the exact same thing to pansy.

"i think i fucked it with him."
"draco shut up! you didn't fuck up anything. if potter is too up his own arse to wait for you, then he isn't worth it dray." pansy stated, and the blonde just sighed.

"i really like him."
"i know that, i know — but if he doesn't care about you then why should you care about him?" she spat, anger rising up in her voice.
"pansy please— understand that i can't help how i feel!" draco pleaded, but then he just took a deep breath and restarted.

"whatever, i am going to sleep, i'll deal with this tomorrow."
"but draco—"
"goodnight pansy."

draco made his way back to his dorm, and sat down on his bed. but then, he looked to his windowsill and nearly jumped off his bed at the sight.

a beautiful white owl sat on the sill, pecking at the glass with an envelope in his mouth. draco's eyes squinted at the sight, he had never seen this owl before so he had no idea who it belonged too.

reluctantly, he strolled over to the window and opened it, and the owl flew inside. it placed the letter on draco's bed before flying back out the window, and draco just stood there in shock.

a few seconds passed before draco closed his window again and went to the letter. he sat down besides it. his cold, slim fingers ripped away at the paper and he then pulled the neatly folded letter out.

at the top left of the paper, it read draco malfoy which made the boys breath hitch in his throat. and then, read the rest of the letter.

tomorrow all the gryffindors are going to hogsmeade for the day, and i'd love for you to come to my dorm so we can talk.

they leave at about 10, so go get breakfast as usual and when its 10 come to my dorm if you want to talk to me, but i'd understand if you didn't want to :)

h.p.

ps. i miss you :[

draco's eyes fluttered open and closed, and he didn't know what to do. harry missed him? fuck that made his heart best a lot faster than usual, and he knew it.

draco debated sending a letter back, but he decided against it incase one of harry's dorm mates read it instead of the boy. so, the blonde decided he would just wait till tomorrow to talk to him.

hopefully they would be able to fix their relationship, because draco wasn't ready to lose his lover boy just yet.

draco woke up feeling particularly confident that morning. he knew that today was the day he would try sort things out with harry.

he dressed himself, and then cleaned his hair and his teeth before leaving to make his way to the hall for breakfast.

"hey dray." pansy greeted as her friend sat down besides her.
"hey, where's blaise?" draco pondered, looking around the room.
"not sure, he wasn't in the common room." pansy shrugged, munching on her bacon happily. draco just hummed and took a bite of pansy's bacon, and the girl just rolled her eyes.

"hey." draco's eyes widened at the voice as he flung around in his seat.
"potter? what the hell are you doing here?" draco asked, looking around to see if anyone was staring at him, but they all seemed to be engaged in their own conversations. except pansy, who was staring at the two boys.

"i just wanted to make sure you got my letter." harry asked.
"letter?" pansy questioned, but the two boys just ignored her.
"yes, i got it."
"and?"
"and yeah, i'll come find you." draco mumbled. he saw pansy grin a bit at that, and potter also smiled slightly before humming and walking away.

"SPILL!" pansy shouted, gaining the attention of a few others who sat around them. draco quickly shushed her before rolling his eyes.
"must we talk about it?" he groaned.
"yes, we absolutely must!"

"gosh, i don't know what to say. harry sent me a letter last night explaining that all his dorm mates are going hogsmeade for the day, so i can go over to his dorm." he said, trying to play it cool.
"wait- wait like... draco are you about to lose your virginity?!" pansy whisper-shouted, and draco's face went beetroot red.

"WHAT? NO! no pansy— what the hell!?" he shrieked, facepalming embarrassingly.
"i had to ask! okay, so what are you going to do?" pansy asked.
"talk." draco shrugged.

"talk? how boring! not even a few little kisses?" pansy chuckled, trying not to speak too loudly.
"well... i mean, maybe a few..." draco tried to stiffle his laugh, and as soon as pansy's face widened — zabini thankfully took a seat at the table which meant they would need to pause this conversation.

"hey." blaise greeted.
"where've you been?" pansy asked curiously.
"i was busy." blaise muttered, which only increased his friends' curiosity.
"oh? who's the new chick, then?" draco smirked, and blaise blushed profusely.
"no one!" he insisted, "now drop it." pansy and draco rolled his eyes, but begun to speak about their plans for the weekend until lunch eventually ended.

and now, draco was on his way to the gryffindor common room. that is the last place in the whole of hogwarts draco ever assumed to find himself, but lately a lot of things have been out of the ordinary.
