H A R R Y

"how was hogsmeade?" harry asked his two friends. ron chewed his bite of bacon, and glanced over at hermione so she could answer since the ginger boy had his mouth full.
"it was lovely, you should've came with us harry." 'mione nodded, and harry chuckled.
"i will next time, promise." he nodded.

"how was being by yourself? were you lonely?" ron asked, finally having his mouth empty.
"not at all." harry said, but quickly went pink when he realised what he said.
"what?"
"i-i just mean— i liked being alone for a bit, so i didn't mind. thats all." he rapidly came up with an excuse, and his friends seemed to believe them as they slowly drifted into a different conversation.

harry's eyes drifted to a specific table as he fell bored in the topic his friends were talking about. he let his gaze find its way to a certain boys face, and it lingered there for a few moments as he identified all of draco malfoy's well-chiseled features.

"what you staring at, potter?!" the loud intrusion made harry flinch, as he turned to look besides draco.

zabini was staring at him with red cheeks, harry assumed the boy thought he was staring at him. although, the outburst confused harry as he thought zabini liked him by now, clearly he was wrong.

"not you, git!" harry shouted back, and zabini looked very offended. although, his facial expression softened when draco whispered something in his ear — something harry wished he heard.

zabini physically huffed and harry just rolled his eyes and turned back to his friends at the gryffindor table.

"why were you looking at blaise?" hermione asked.
"i wasn't!" harry quickly responded, his cheeks turning pink with embarrassment.
"okay." the girl shrugged and turned back to ron and continued gossiping.

the rest of breakfast went by swiftly and they all made their way to lessons, as it was now monday.

harry had herbology first, which he quite liked since he knew it was important for his future. herbology was a core subject, and harry appreciated that.

after class, it was break. harry sat in his common room with his two best friends — as he always did. they all say down on the comfy chairs, and comfortably fell into conversation.

although, an unexpected guest quickly arrived.
"potter!" harry's eyes widened as he rapidly spun around. there stood a very familiar blonde boy, who had his usual devilish grin on his face.
"what are you doing here malfoy? this is the gryffindor common room! how do you even know the password?" ron complained as he sat up straight.

harry could feel his cheeks reddening, as he remembered he was the one who gave draco the password yesterday. maybe he shouldn't of done that, but he didn't expect the boy to pull a stunt like this!

"i know people, weasle." malfoy scoffed, and approached the trio. hermione shuffled awkwardly in her seat as he unfriendly slytherin got closer and closer.

"can we go somewhere and talk, potter?"
"why would harry want to talk to you?!" ron shouted, standing up aggressively.
"shut up, weasley! i'm not talking to you, so stay out of it!" draco snapped, and harry's brows furrowed at that.
"hey! stop being rude, d-malfoy." harry sternly spoke, standing up opposite the slytherin boy.

malfoy just smirked at that, and held onto harry's arm, pulling him out of the large room.

"draco! stop!" harry squealed as the other boy led him
up the many stairs.
"stop complaining." draco replied dryly as he continued walking.

they eventually stopped when they were at the top of the astronomy tower.
"dray, why are we here?" harry asked as he sat down on the ledge.
"we need a spot."
"what?"
"like, a place that is ours. so if i ask you to meet me at our spot, come here." the boy explained, and harry blushed.

"that's cute." he grinned, and draco just rolled his eyes. "BUT." harry quickly added, and that made the other turn to him anxiously. "the way you spoke to ron earlier was not okay."
"i know, i know. the weasle just annoys me sometimes, baby."
"stop calling him that! he is my best friend, draco." harry scolded. "i'm not asking you to be nice to him, just don't be mean. just leave him alone, please."

the blonde boy sighed and turned to look off the tower, his eyes scanning the gorgeous view. "okay." he nodded, as he knew harry was looking at him. the brunette's face lit up as he smiled and pressed a kiss to the boys cheek.

"what the hell did i just see?"
