Wilbur and I have been up since like ten am this morning because we sleep in more on weekends. Sometime earlier, we decided that we were going to go on a drive together. It's like ten in the evening so, he's the one actually driving because he gets adorably worried when I'm driving at night. He just wants me to stay safe.
He tucks his hand between my knees as we just drive around and talk for a little while.
"Were you actually supposed to go to work or anything today? Or did I accidentally make you miss it?" I ask.
" I only stream like twice a month."
"Not always. Usually you're more active than that."
"Maybe. But those are the only two actually scheduled things."
"Maybe you should stream soon."
"But staying in bed with you is so much more fun."
"Mmm, it is. I just know that you also love streaming."
"Yeah. I do."
"Then do it more. You're allowed to. I promise."
" I know."
I lean over and press a kiss to his shoulder. He smiles and glances over at me.
"I love when you do that."he says.
"Do what?"
"Kiss me just because you can."
"You're cute."
He jokingly sticks his tongue out at me. I playfully roll my eyes at him and lay my head on his shoulder.
" I love you so much, Sweetheart."he tells me.
" I love you too, Will."
"You wanna go get ice cream?"
"Yeah."
He pulls into the drive through of the nearest 24 hour fast food restaurant and gets us both a cone of ice cream and a soda to share. We drive around and listen to music while we eat.
