Death is a natural phenomenon. No one truly knows where one goes once they've reached their end. Death can be welcomed as an old friend, other times it can be viewed as one's worst fear.

Alysanne did not have much against death. Death was life. One lived and then later died. But still life is viewed as the greatest gift, for one does not truly know when they shall meet their end.

Legacy is one of the only things left behind when one dies. Well that is what her grandfather says. A man who fights to build his own through his daughter and now grandchildren.

A single tear rolled down her flushed cheeks, Laena Velaryon will never see the war. She would have only lived within the peace before the storm, along with Ser Harwin. Stupid man had not listened to her warning.

Alysanne had not known the two individuals well; she had never even met Laena in person, only in her dreams. She was brave. Strong. She could still feel the licks of the flames on her skin as she had looked in the eyes of a great dragon, commanding it to relieve her of her pain.

She had woken in the middle of the night, no scream had left her but the tears still ran down her face. A new fear of childbirth being imprinted in the back of her mind.

Ser Harwin she had met. He was a sensible, honourable man. He was brave and strong just as Laena once was. They would have both done well in the war. But overall both Laena and Harwin were great parent. But yet they will both never get to see their children grow into men and women, their children will live the rest of their lives without the love of their true father or mother, and for that she sympathises for them.

The splash of the stone coffin hitting the water brought her back to the present, her gaze flickering to the two girls huddled together cheeks tear stained, as they sniffled slightly, the eldest of the two girls made direct eye contact with Alysanne.

Alysannes pale cheeks remained flush from the cold as she maintained eye contact, giving the girl a slow nod before reverting her eyes to her sister whose hand she held firmly in her palms, whispers leaving her parted lips, riddles that could not be identified, but held great meaning.

She felt her sister give her hand a firm squeeze as Alysanne leant her head against her elder sister's shoulder.

Both mourning what is to come.

Wine was passed around between guests as servers made their way through the clustered of mourning lords and ladies.

Alysanne herself had departed ways from her sister not being too fond of the sight of spiders; she had instead chosen to stand beside her mother her dress, a dark emerald with thick black embroidery travelling along the bodice and going out past her hips stopping just before the hem of the dress.
