Quiet. The world had been too quiet for too long. It was as though everyone was holding their breath waiting for a stone to fall into the pond creating a splash in the still water.Lord Caswell hurried across the stone floors of the keep in preparation to meet with the princess Rhaenyra and the rest of her family. A letter tightly in his hands, a Targaryen seal was stamped upon the paper in a lavender wax.
A letter that would later be placed within the heirs hands as she was once again greeted into the keep, although with lack of an audience to celebrate.

Alysanne did not much care for those within the small council. Of course they were known as important lords of the realm but they seemed awfully dull to her.
Lord Beesbury was a man she greatly appreciated. He seemed almost innocent to the events around him. A man who like herself sometimes lost themselves in the past.
He was a sweet man; she enjoyed chatting with him every once in a while, but she did have to admit he was rather useless within these council meetings.
Constantly shot down and seeming like an outcast among his fellow lords it made Alysanne sad to think when the time comes he will be put to rest.
Alysanne after serving many years as a cupbearer had finally been dismissed. Her current stature was now hunched over an opening in the wall peering in and listening to the talk of the council.
It seemed as though that once a girl had flowered she would be betrothed as soon as possible. Thankfully she had been a late bloomer having only just flowered a couple of moons after her 16th name day.
She knew she had caused her grandfather and mother great panic in thinking she was possibly barren. But Alysanne knew that with taking a small amount of ragwort every couple of months it would delay any chance of flowering until she was ready.
She had gathered allies across the seven kingdoms the Baratheons having now been deemed as an ally with her helping their daughter finding a good match, the Tyrells now having taken her sweet twin into their family were sure to be swayed to her side and the Lannisters although still not fully aligned have seemed to favour the girl, with letters continuously being sent from the rocks to the keep, it was hard not to see the admiration coming from the heir of the rocks.
And finally the Starks. A betrothal had been set in place just a couple of moons ago entailing the marriage of herself and Cregan Stark.
Her grandfather had been very pleased by his granddaughters ambitions, having been preparing and swaying the heir of winterfell from the age of two and ten. His mind was full of how having the North on their side would greatly benefit them during times of war.
