Wings beating loudly. A screech is let out. Bruises lie on the skin's surface. Blood dripping down from open cuts. An eye sliced. One eye no more. Flesh healed over.Alysannes eyes flashed towards the glass window, her eyes met dark sand shifting from a southern wind.
Her head rested upon her sister's legs, a caterpillar runs along the side of her index finger, its small legs creating a tickle like feeling, she passes it over to her sister as she sits upright.
"A caterpillar has six legs, but only three true ones" Her sister whispered, bringing the caterpillar closer to her eyes to get a better look.
"Which are attached under the thorax, aren't they Helaena?" Alysanne did not much care for the knowledge of insects, but after spending so much time with her sister it eventually rubbed off. She pushes her sister forwards slightly as she goes to undo the braid-like headband at the front of her head.
Her sister hums, a soft smile directed towards her sister spreads "He will close one eye tonight" her eyes never leaving the caterpillar "Yes he shall, but he will also obtain a dragon" her hands now running through Helaenas white hair, a small tune she hums under her breath.
"Caterpillars have six eyes on either side of their head. That makes twelve" Alysanne rests her head on the cold wall as she allows Helaena to talk. She finds comfort in her sister's entomophile habits. It is her constant, just as she knows Helaena finds a constant in her painting.
The wind seems to pick up outside with it banging aggressively against the glass windows, rattling the room slightly. She sees an outline of a dragon taking off.
And so it begins.

Alysannes hands folded in front of her frame, as she walked into the room crowded full of lords and ladies. Her sister walked alongside her; eyes distant. Her pale blue nightgown contrasted to the rest of her family, Helaena still wore her green dress from earlier along with both her brothers still wearing their clothes from earlier today.
Aemonds although now had specks of red splattered across his tailored outfit. Blood. His own and those of their cousins and nephews.
She slowed her pace down slightly as they moved in past Baela and Rhaena, Alysanne stopped momentarily before them taking in the blood splattered across their white night gowns, face slightly bruised.
She pulled out two matching pieces of cloth, both adorned with a Targaryen symbol each, and passed one to each sister giving them both a soft smile as she met their hesitant eyes. "I am sorry for my brother's actions"
Her eyes now moving directly to Rhaenas "she was yours to claim, but I could do nothing to stop it, allow the fire in you to build and wait for the right moment to strike next time" her words were light and almost a whisper as she lightly brushed past the two, reaching out for the hand Helaena left open for her, squeezing softly.
