"Hola abuala! Hola Tia Julieta ! Hola tío Agustin! Hola mama y papa! Hola primas! Buenos Diaz Camilo! Hi baby Antonio. " Y/N yelled as she ran passed the dinning room. She had chores she had to do and didn't have time to eat so she ran past hoping her Tia wouldn't yell at her. Just her luck. "Y/N where are you going? You have to eat!" Julieta yelled. "Sí, I know but I'm late to help fix one of the roads! I promised to be there at 8 and it's already 7:45!" Y/n said. It would be the ninth time this week she was late for a chore and abuala was stressed enough as it was. Antonio had just entered his teething stage and everyone was tired. She didn't want to add to the stress. "Let her go Julieta." "Mama she has to eat, if she doesn't-" "I'm not hungry Tia really. But I have to go" "See," abuala said " if she's hungry before lunch she'll find you at town center if not she'll wait till lunch." "Thanks abuala! Love you all! See you soon!" Y/n yelled as she rushed out the door. It was 8:02 by the time she got there so luckily no one knew she was late. "Hola y/n madrigal!" Thats mr.Louis said. " good to see you! Sorry to make you come out so early but this road connecting town and the more country side houses broke. We need it fixed so people can travel." "Understood. How can I help?" Y/n asked. "Well your gift if the controlling of earth right? Can't you just put some stone in the patches?" Ah yes. That common misconception. You see, y/n can't control earth. She controls sand. Sand and only sand. She can make the sand wet and creat a mud like substance but only that. "I can't do that but I can't do this-" with that she started to move the sand by the river and put it through the water . Then she put it in the cracks and hardened it. That would hold the bridge together. "Thank you y/n." "No problem senor. It really wasn't a problem." "Well still thank you!" "No problem see you soon!" With that y/n ran off to see if anyone else needed help. By lunch she fixed ten houses with cracks in the walls, filled 22 potholes in the roads, and fixed 47 cracks in casita. Not that she would ever tell anyone they where there. "Y/n can you get your primas and our brothers? It's time for lunch and they are still in town." "No problem dolly! Be back soon!" She moved the sand to make a moving platform to help her find her cousins and brothers . She found Camilo and Mirabel first. They where playing with the kids. Then she Luisa. She was just putting the donkeys back into their pens. Isabella was making flower arrangements for mama and Tia for Mother's Day. After she found everyone and told them it was time for lunch it took about ten minutes for everyone to be home. That's where everyone started to eat and make small talk. Dolores was talking with mama and Camilo. Abuala was talking with Julieta and Isabella. Luisa,Felix and agustinng where talking about the latest football game and y/n and was playing with baby Antonio with Mirabel. Suddenly abuala started to speak. "As everyone knows, the people of Encanto are getting worried about the rising numbers of cracks in casita. And I just wanted to thank everyone for doing their part in keeping the cracks under control. Especially y/n." Everyone smiled at y/n and she was smiling too. Abuala loves everyone in the family and everyone knows she does but her love language isn't exactly normal so sometimes she can be a bit cruel. But on the rare occasion she gives thank you like this it makes everyone's day better. "Gracias abuala! I'm trying really hard. It's getting a bit tiring however. Is it ok if I take the afternoon off? I've been using my gift so much I'm becoming dizzy." "Y/n our powers are not meant to be a burden we have to take a break from. The break should be using our powers! However, since you all have been working so hard I don't see why we can't take the afternoon off. But you all would have to finish your chores after dinner instead. If that's ok with everyone we could go to the river and have a beach day. Does that sound good to everyone?" Everyone said yes and gracias to abuala. With that everyone left to get ready for the beach day.
