Au: present day encanto

(Basically the Encanto has phones and everything else like internet but they are still closed off. This will take place in 2022 but the triplets will be about 14-15)
If they're in "" it's being said aloud if I'm ''then its being thought.
This isn't fully done so there are gaps and crap so sorry guys I'm workin on it

"Pepa, Julieta, Bruno, stop messing around! This is very important." The teacher said.
"No offense miss but, no one in this room will ever use the knowledge of what the mitochondrion does for a cell. Or what a cell is." Bruno said.
"I'm sure someone will need it. Like how about Mathew. He may need it." The teacher said pointing to a boy.
"He becomes a shoe maker."
"Alice?"
"Flower shop."
"Agusting?"
"Stay at home dad."
"Felix?"
"Same as Agusting."
"How about your sisters hm?" The teacher challenge.
"She does know we are just going to help the village like we are now for the rest of our lives right?" Julieta asked Bruno.
"I hope so." Bruno whispered back.
Suddenly the bell rang and everyone grabbed their belongings and headed out the door. Since that was the last hour of school Bruno, Julieta, and pepa began their walk home with Agusting and Felix.They were ready for their month long break. They got it every year for a month in the summer.
"Hey Bruno why'd you say that stuff? Like I'm happy you did cus I don't care about that stuff and like you said I'll never use it but won't you get in trouble?" Agusting asked.
"No. Bruno already talked to mama about this teacher and she said he's allowed to if she yells at us about 'messing around' again."
"Your moms nicer than mine. I'd be dead if I did what you did." Felix joked.
"Even though she gave me permission I'm still certain she'll beat my ass when's it get home so..." Bruno said.
"This is my place see you guys!" Felix said as he ran to the front door.
"See you Felix!" Everyone yelled back.
"Didn't we pass your house too Agusting?" Pepa asked.
"Im going to study with julieta at the library today." He said.
"We have a month break can't you do that later?" Pepa asked.
"Me and Julieta got into the spelling bee!" Agusting announced.
"Oh cool! Anyway I'm meeting my friends here see you guys at home." Pepa said as she walked towards a park.
"Look like the library's just a few blocks away to the left. See you Bruno" Agusting said.
"See you at home." Julieta said as she walked with Agusting.
"Bye." Bruno yelled "I guess."
Bruno put in his earbuds and walked home alone. Most days he wasn't messed with by sometimes the kids would bother him when he was alone. He hated walking home alone but he's never tell his sisters. It would make them have to change all their plans just to make sure he got home without being picked on. He could deal with being picked on.

"Hey I'm talking to ya!" Some kid yelled as they pushed Bruno to the ground.
"I'm s-sorry I didn't hear you." Bruno said trying to get up from the ground.
The boy kicked him back down. "I know you heard me you twerp. Now your gonna do something for me ok?" They said.
"What is it?" Bruno asked
"You're gonna tell your sister Julieta she ends up married to me got it?"
"Why would I do that?" Bruno asked.
"Because if you don't I'll beat you up." The bully said lifting him by his shirt.
"I'm not telling my sister a-" the kid punched him square in the face before he could even finish.
"Do it or I'll hit you again." He demanded
"But I-" he got punched again.
'This is the most random beating up I've ever gotten.' This time the bully didn't stop. He stomped and punched and spat at Bruno. All Bruno could do was curl into a ball and wait for it to be over. He was one of the smallest kids in the entire village so there wasn't a point fighting back. But suddenly he heard someone.
"Hey leave him alone!" They yelled as they tackled the person to the ground.
"Get off me you freak!" The bully screamed and thrashed.
People from the houses around them saw it out their windows and got out to look.
"Oh my god Bruno and that girl are beating that poor child up!"
"How could they do that to him?"
"I told you he was a monster."
"See you two, this is why you stay away from people like them."
Bruno grabbed the girl off of the boy and sprinted straight to casita. He threw her in and slammed the door behind him.
"Are you ok?" The girl asked.
"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!?" Bruno screamed.
"W-what? He was beating you up I thought-"
"NO YOU DIDNT THINK! EVERYONE THINKS YOURE A MONSTER NOW!" Bruno screamed.
"But he was- oh my gosh you're crying are you hurt?" The girl asked.
"Im f-f-fine." Bruno said, "no. No I'm not." He said. He put his back to the door and followed it to the floor. He pulled his legs up to his chest and hugged them. He began sobbing as he remembered what the people said about him.
'How could they do that to him?'
'See you two, this is why you stay away from people like them.'
'Oh my god Bruno and that girl are beating that poor child up!'

"Brunito snap out of it! Bruno! What happened?"He heard someone yelling.
"He was getting beat up so I tried to help but I guess I did more harm then good." Someone else said
'Must be mamá and that girl' Bruno thought
"Bruno you're not in trouble. You're safe. You need to breathe. Follow me ok? Can you do that?" His mama asked as she put his hand on her chest so he could feel her heart beat and her breathing. After a few minutes Bruno started to match her breathing.
"Better?" She asked.
Bruno didn't want to speak so he just shook his head up and down.
"Good. Now let's go get your some arepas." She said as she pulled Bruno off of the floor.
"I'm sorry Bruno. I didn't mean to make you upset I was trying by to help." The girl said looking at the ground.
"It's ok." Bruno whispered.
"Are you two friends from school?"
"Oh no i don't go to school." The girl responded.
"Why not?"
"Too much to do at home. My mami died last year so my papi decided to move me and my sister here since this is his childhood town." She explained.
"Oh your y/f/n daughter?" (Your fathers name)
"Yes ma'am."
"Well it's lovely to meet you. Would you remind me of your name?"
"Y/n. Y/n y/l/n." (Your name and your last name)
"What a beautiful name for a beautiful young lady." She said.
"Thank you." Y/n giggled.
"So how's your father and sister doing?"
"My father is very sick right now and so is my sist-" before y/n could finish there was frantic banging on the door. Bruno, his mother and y/n went to answer it.
"Can I help you?"
"Oh my god Lilly! What happened?!" Y/n said rushing towards her sister.
"D-daddy's throwing up blood and he-he won't open his eyes!" She cried.
"Oh no no no no no!" Y/n yelled as she started running to her house. Bruno had an arepa in hand so he followed in hopes to save your father.
"This can't be real! This can't be real!" Y/n said as she threw the door open. She ran straight to her fathers room not even caring to shut the door or put her sister down.
"Papi!" She yelled as she fell to his side.
"Hola mi princesa." He wispered.
"Hola papi." Y/n said trying not to cry.
"I'm not going to make it much longer honey." He laughed. "Dios míos that was blunt." He joked trying to lighten the mood.
"N-no don't say that. Your ok! Let me get your a rag and some medí-" y/ns father cut her off by grabbing her hand.
"It's ok my time has come. Promise me something?"He asked her.
"No! You can't leave yet! Not yet!" Y/n cried
"Here I brought an arepa! Have him eat it." Bruno offered.
"Here papi e-eat this." Y/n said trying to smile. This was at least going to give her papi a fighting chance right?
"Papi please I'm begging you to eat this." She begged
"Raise your sister well."
"Papi? What?"
"Take care of your sister and don't let her die." He took a huge breath. "This isn't your fault and I love you so much. Come here Lilly." He said motioning to y/ns sister.
Lilly imediatly ran over to her papi and got in bed with him and hugged him. Y/n father took her and hugged her to. She sobbed into him.
"Y/n..."
"Lilly what is it?" Y/n wispered.
"H-h-he's gone" she breathed in shock.
Y/n didn't know what to do. She froze before she started to sob. She couldn't do this without her papi.
"Papi no! Dont go! Not yet! Please don't go!" She begged as she clung to his body.
"Y/n.." bruno tried to pull her off but she refused to move or even acknowledge his actions. He tried to pull her off but she snapped.
"TOUCH ME AGAIN AND IM RIPPING YOUR ARM OFF!" She screamed before she fell to the floor again.
Brunos mother was able to get Lilly out of the room and was going to get julieta to help watch her until she was able to get home. Bruno knew she would only be gone a few minute but he was worried y/n would try to do something to herself and he would be helpless to it.
"Y/n?" Bruno put his hand in her shoulder since she was mumbling something to herself.
"I h-hate her." She sobbed.
Bruno didn't know who she meant but he had a good assumption it would be her mother. She would have been the one to get her father and sister sick which would inevitably lead to her fathers death.
"I'm sorry." He said as he knelt down beside her.
"I don't know what your going through but I lost my papi when I was very little. I never got to know him. But some days it easy to act as if he's really with me. It may not even be acting."
"I-I thought you where c-Christian or something. Don't they go to heaven or hell or something like that." She said as she calmed down a little.
"I'm not. My family is but I can't get myself to believe in a god. Especially not one that they claim there is." He said.
"So my papis really g-gone?" She asked as she was about to start crying again.
"Oh no no! That's not what I ment. I meant that your papi isn't in a heaven or hell more like a uh place for people. Like I read this book where everyone who dies gets to go to the afterlife and just enjoy it. Celebrating and dancing. Feasts and fiestas are a constant. As long as they are remembered. As long as you keep his memory alive you'll see him again very soon. He may even visit you." Bruno said
"You believe a book and not a religion? Seems off."
"Well one hasn't been proven to me the other has. Can I tell you something?" Bruno asked
"What is it?" Y/n asked.
"I had a vision of you. I wasn't trying to but it happened when I saw you walking down the road a few weeks ago. I didn't think much of it until i had a vision of you. Here may I show it to you?" He asked.
"Mhm." Y/n said.
Bruno helped to get her off of the floor since the vision was at his house. Y/n looked back at her father.
"I can't leave him yet." She said as she frantically looked between him and Bruno.
"He's always with you. However I get that cheesy line never works to comfort so we can stay for however long or short you need."
"Gracias Bruno." She said as she walked back to her fathers room.
"No problem.... Are you alright?" He asked when he noticed y/n standing in the doorway of her fathers room.
"I can't get myself to go into his room and just see his body but I-I-I can't leave him yet I just-I can't-I don't-I mean like- I just- DIOS MÍOS I CANT DO THIS ANYMORE!" She screamed as she fell to her knees. She put her hands over her face and sobbed into them. She was so tired. She did everything she was supposed to do to help her father. She gave him balanced meals three times a day. She made sure he took his medicine on time every time. She didn't have friends because she was always taking care of him. She never hated him for it. He deserved it but she just could keep going. Now she had to do it for her sister until she died of whatever this dieses was. The only thing Julieta couldn't heal cursed her family.
"I'm too tired. I can't keep going. I can't." She sobbed.
"Hey it's ok. Come here I've got you." He tried soothing as y/n curled into a ball against him. Her back was to his chest and her head was between her knees but Bruno hugged her in a way that was different than anyone else. A way that was comforting but also wouldn't let her move. He wouldn't let her get hurt again if he could help it. He didn't know why he was so protective of her but he chose to question it later.
After a little while julieta walked into the house."Bruno?" She whispered. By now y/n had cried herself to sleep.
"Hey julieta. Where's mamá and Lilly?" He asked
"When Mami found me Lilly had fallen asleep in her arms. She sent me to help you and y/n get back to where ever she plans on staying. Do we know where that is?"
"I don't think so."
"Ok then mami said to take her to casita if there isn't a clear plan." Julieta said.
"Ok." Bruno said as he picked y/n up.
"Jeez apparently she super light."
"Nah, I'm super strong." Bruno said
"Doubt it. Let's go. I have a cart cus mami wasn't sure if y/n had anything she'd need to bring." Julieta said as she opened the door for Bruno.
"Hey go in and grab some pillows and blankets. We can put her in the cart. It'll be easier."
"Ok." She said as she walked in. She was back out in 2 minutes with some pillows and blankets and some cloths.
"I found her room and grabbed some cloths for tonight and tomorrow." Julieta explained.
"Got it." Bruno said.
Julieta positions the pillows and blankets for y/n to lay on the way to casita. Once Bruno put her down julieta put a blanket over her. The temperature had dropped drastically. Bruno assumed it was because pepa had heard what happened.
"Let's go." Julieta said as she got on the horse to ride it to casita. Bruno got in the back with y/n to make sure nothing fell off. Including y/n.
"There you are. Is she ok?" Pepa asked as she walked out of the house. She had a rainbow over head but it turned to a storm as soon as she saw y/n.
"Hey pep. She's ok right now she's asleep. What had you so happy?" Julieta asked
"Oh Lilly is just adorable is all. What can I do to help?" She asked.
"Here take these to wherever she's sleeping." Bruno said.
"Got it.... Where's that?" She asked
"Ask mami." Julieta said. Pepa shock her head and went inside.  Bruno picked up y/n and carried her inside and julieta grabbed the pillows and blankets.
"Bruno. Lilly is staying with pepa in her room since she really likes pepa and i think y/n is going to be in the living room." Brunos mother said pointing to the living room. Bruno walked right past her and took
Y/n to his room. He wasn't going to let her sleep on a couch after what happened. He can sleep on the couch.
After he laid y/n on his bed he walked back out to get her some water for when she woke up.
"Why'd you put her in your room?" Pepa asked
"If mami died and you went to sleep at someone else's house you'd much rather be in a bed then on a couch right?" He asked her.
"True I guess."
"Plus I'm not going to be in there. I'll sleep on the couch tonight." Bruno said
"That's very thoughtful of you Bruno." His mami said. Bruno just smiled as he took the water up to
y/n.
When he got to y/n she was still fast asleep. Bruno smiled at her and put the water down.
'Dios míos she's gorgeous' Bruno though. 'Where did that come from?!' He asked himself as he ran out of the room. He shut the door as quietly as he could and walked downstairs to the living room where julieta, pepa, and Lilly were. Bruno waved hi because Lilly was asleep ontop of pepa.
"That has got to be the cutest 6 year old ever." Julieta remarked.
"Uh, obviously." Pepa said.
Bruno fell onto the couch. He was extremely tired.
"You ok hermano?" Pepa asked
"I'm just tired." Bruno said
"I'm going to take Lilly to bed. I'll see you guys in the morning." Pepa said as she picked Lilly up to go to her room.
"Night." Julieta and bruno said.
"Long day right?" Julieta tried to joke.
Bruno just looked at her.
"You ok?" She asked
"I'm fine. I'm going to bed now." Bruno said "good night." He said as he face planted into the couch.
"Haha. Good night hermano." Julieta said as she went to her room.
Bruno tried to get some sleep. He really did. But once 2 am hit he decided he wasn't going to get any and snuck into his room to get some visions done. He was so careful not to wake y/n that he took the stairs and not his elevator just to be sure.
" ok then," Bruno said cracking his knuckles, "give me something good." He said as he started his visions.
After about 25 minutes he heard a knocking on the door to his vision cave.
"Bruno?" Y/n asked sleepily
"Oh y/n! Sorry did I wake you?" Bruno asked as he fiddled with his poncho.
"No I woke up a little before you came and gave me water. I couldn't sleep but I didn't want to worry you." She said
"Oh y/n I'm sorry. Is there anything I can do to help you?" Bruno asked
"No I'm not getting any sleep tonight. It's normal but uh could you uh- show me that uhm... that thing you told me." She asked
"Oh that vision I had of you?" Bruno asked
"Y-ya that..."
"Here I'll show you." Bruno said as he started to walk to a room near the back of his vision cave.
"I have a little room where I keep visions that people don't need. Mostly of my family and such..."
"Who's this?" Y/n asked pointing to a vision of a girl. She had long brown hair and it looked like she was swinging on... vines?
"Oh that my future sobrina. Isn't she just gorgeous." He said looking fondly at the vision.
"Yoh looked to see your future sobrina?" Y/n asked
"Well ya. I wanted to make sure they all got here healthy and grew up happy you know."
"How many do you get?"
"My future sombrías? I have 4 of them. Then I get 2 sombríos." Bruno said
"Here, his name's Camilo." Bruno said handing y/n a vision of a boy. He had short curly hair and a ton of freckles. He kinda looked like Bruno except his hair was brown not black.
"He looks like you." Y/n smiled
"A little." Bruno smiled as he thought of his family, "AHA! I found it." Bruno said bringing y/n her vision.
"What the-?" Y/n said as she saw it. It seemed to be her in a wedding dress although she didn't see a groom. She was with her sister who seemed about 14 or 15 standing by her with a beaming smile.
'Good to know she'll be ok.' Y/n thought.
As she thought of her sister she moved the image to the left a bit and there, clear as day, her father stood proud with his hand on her shoulder.
"B-Bruno...." Y/n breathed as she saw it.
"Ya uhm I thought I may help you a little bi-" Bruno started but was cut off by y/n rushing in to hug him.
"THANK YOU BRUNO! THANK YOU!" Y/n cried
"No problem amor. You can keep it." Bruno told her
"Thank you so much!" She said
"You should probably try and get some sleep. Tomorrow is going to be rough." Bruno advised
"Ya probably...." Y/n said.
"I'll walk with you." Bruno said.
"Thank you for everything Bruno." Y/n said.
"It's nothing." Bruno shrugged off.
"It's a lot to me." Y/n said looking down at the vision. Bruno just smiled at her as they got into the elevator to get down from the cave. Y/n never took her eyes off of that vision. And Bruno never took his eyes off of her.

"Buenos días bruno. How'd you sleep?" Julieta asked when Bruno came out of his room. It's was 5 am by the time he left his room. Him and y/n had stayed up and just talked about things. Y/n did most of the talking. Bruno didn't mind listening to her.
"I didn't sleep. But it was a f good night." Bruno said as he grabbed an arepa.
"You stay up with y/n?" She asked
"Ya." Bruno said, smiling at the memory of her. "We went into my vision room, you know that one in the back of my vision cave." Bruno said. Julieta stopped what she was doing.
"You took her back there?" She asked as she turned tk Bruno.
"Well ya I was showing her a vision I had of her." Bruno said, trying to shrug it off.
"You won't even let me in there. Or mama."
"Well ya cus there are things about the future I want to keep as a suprise to you guys." Bruno said as he finished his arepa.
"Can I have another?" Bruno asked
"They're in the fridge heat what you want up." She said as she went back to making breakfast. "Here take this plate to y/n. Not sure if she wants to talk to people yet." Julieta said.
"Thanks." Bruno said as she put his arepas on a plate.
He walked back up to his room, careful not to spill the plates of food.
"Hey y/n?" Bruno said as he knocked on the door.
No answer.
"Hey y/n?"
Door was locked.
"Y/n You ok?"
He heard glass breaking
"Y/N! PLEASE ANSWER THE DOOR." Bruno was panicking
"Bruno are you ok." Y/n asked quietly once she opened the door.
"Dios míos!" He said pulling y/n into a hug. "Sorry the door was locked and I heard glass break so I thought you where hurt. Have you been crying?" He asked y/n when he saw the tear stains on her face.
"I'm ok sorry." Y/n said. She didn't look at Bruno through this entire conversation.
"Are you sure? Did something happen?" He asked.
"NO!" Y/n yelled, "I-I mean no. Nothing happened. Everything's great." She said
"Ok then. Uh here julieta made you food." He said handing y/n the plate.
"Oh thank you." She said
"Are you sure you're ok? You don't seem like it." Bruno said. He was genuinely worried. It may have been the glass breaking though.
'She hasn't shown you her left arm. It's been hidden behind the door.' A voice in Bruno's head said.
"I'm fine Bruno really. Thanks for the concern though." Y/n said, adding a smile to the end of it.
"Well uh.... Ok. Can I come in though?" Bruno asked
"Is there a particular reason...." Y/n asked him
"Well I heard some glass break so I just wanna clean up whatever fe-"
"Oh it's fine I already cleaned it up! Everything's ok!" Y/n said, cutting Bruno off.
"Ok then I can take the broom from you th-"
"No I've got it!" Y/n said cutting him off again.
'Ya we definitely need in that room' a voice in Bruno's head said. He didn't disagree but getting in was easier said then done.
"Ok then... we'll I've got a vision I need to grab from the back room so I'll just-"
"You said those where visions no one needs." Y/n stated.
'She's hiding something'
"Ok fine I'll admit that's a lie," Bruno said, "but I do need to come in the room."
"How come?" Y/n asked. Bruno noticed her stance change. She was going to fight bruno to stay out of the room.
"I'm not going to fight you to get in there." Bruno said "I'm just trying to help you. But I won't force it." Bruno said.
Y/n relaxed at this just as bruno had planned. With that he pushed the door open just enough to get in and shut it behind him.
'Great going now you trapped her in' the voice hissed at him.
"I'm not trying to trap you in but I am worried about you. Why are you hiding your arm?" Bruno asked. Y/n still had her left arm covered but instead she was using her body not the door.
"What you going to force me to show you?" Y/n challenged. She was obviously angry but bruno didn't care. He'd rather her hate him forever and be wrong then she like him and be right about his suspicion.
"No but im going to find out one way or the other. It'll be easier if you just tell me so I can help fix it." Bruno said
"WELL WHAT IF I DONT WANT YOUR HELP!?" Y/n yelled
"I don't care if you want it or not im going to help you. And you can hate me forever but if what im thinking is going on is and I walk out of here and don't help you I'll never forgive myself so please, show. Me. Your. Arm." Bruno said, making sure to highlight the last 4 words. He was careful not to yell as he was sure would only worsen the situation.
"Im fine I don't want your help. You can leave." Y/n said turning her back to Bruno.
"You may not want it but you need it and im not leaving till you get it. If you don't want to show me I'll go get literally anyone else to help you but im not letting you be alone till you get help." Bruno said.
"Get my dad." Y/n said flatly
"That's not fair."
"Well then, looks like no one can help me. Too bad. Bye now." Y/n waving for bruno to leave.
Bruno took the hint that she wasn't accepting help from anyone and sat in front of the door.
"What are you doing?" Y/n asked
"Well since it is my room i get to be in or out of it whenever I please. And right now I please to be in it." Bruno said taking up the book casita had brought him. "You can of course leave but trying to hid something from my sisters won't end well." He said turning the page of his book.
"I hate you so much right now." Y/n said, fuming with rage.
"Maybe but, you'll get help this way so I don't care." Bruno said.
"Hm. Challenge accepted." Y/n said as she sat in the corner by a window and stared out of it. Once she got settled casita closed the blinds so she couldn't. Y/n huffed but didn't move or say anything. She decided to look at the floor instead. Bruno wasn't leaving anytime soon. He had food right beside him and a very good book that he was only a few pages into.
"Are you really not letting me leave till I tell you?" Y/n asked. Breaking the hour and a half of silence between them.
"You can leave whenever you want I'm not going to stop you. But I'm the least stubborn out of my entire family. So once they catch wind of the fact your hiding something they will do anything to find out." Bruno said as he marked his book and set it aside.
Y/n groaned in annoyance but didn't budge. Whatever the issue was she definitely didn't want to tell him. He wasn't going to tell her that he saw the bloody piece of glass under his bed, or the bandages on his dresser. He didn't tell her that he saw a trail of blood from the door to where she was now. It was only a drop or 2 but noticeable never the less.
Another few hours came and went and Bruno got to chapter 9 in his book. Y/n must have been getting bored out of her mind but she still didn't budge. Lunch came and went. So did dinner. By the time Bruno finished his book it was dark outside.
"Still not talking?" Bruno asked looking to where y/n was sitting.
"No." She said.
"Well looks like we're spending tomorrow like this too." Bruno said as casita brought him a pillow and blanket.
"Are you really going to sleep on the ground?" Y/n asked
"Yep." Bruno said as he laid down and put the blanket on-top of himself.
"Stubborn as a donkey." Y/n muttered under her breath.
"Thanks." Bruno said.
"Can I at least have some food?" Y/n asked.
"Oh ya,Sure." Bruno said as he got up and handed y/n the plate of arepas he still had.
"Thanks." Y/n said as she ate them silently and Bruno went back to his spot in front of the door.
Soon after y/n finished the arepas she went and got into Bruno's bed. Once Bruno heard y/n snoring in her sleep he decided he would go to sleep as well since she can't sneak out and avoid talking to him about it if she did. He meant what he said about his sisters being nosy but they could also be oblivious sometimes so he was sure they wouldn't notice that she wasn't ok. But Bruno was prepared to spend the next few days with her if necessary. Before he went to bed he snuck downstairs and grabbed a ton of left overs and put them in his mini fridge. Once he was sure he had everything ready he finally went to sleep.

"Y/n! Y/n wake up!" Bruno said as he shook her awake. Casita woke him up and when he looked over to y/n it looked like she was having a horrible nightmare. She looked like she was having a panic attack in her dream.
"Oh my god!" Y/n said as she shot up from bed. She was sweating and panting. She tried her best to herself off when she felt something cold against her forehead.
"Casita brought me a cold towel. Here,"He said as he put it on her forehead, "are you ok?"
"I'm f-fine." Y/n said as she took the towel from Bruno and put it back in the bucket of water.
"You know it's ok to not be ok right?" Bruno asked. He was being genuine about it. With her father being sick she wouldn't of had time to be not ok. Her sister wasn't as sick but still, it couldn't have been easy. And if she wasn't ok neither would they.
"Ya I know." Y/n said. She still wouldn't even look at Bruno.
"You sure?" Bruno asked as he sat on the bed next to her. When Bruno asked her she finally broke. She started to sob into her hands and she pulled her knees up to her chest.
"I can't do this Bruno." She said as she tried to wipe her tears away, just for them to be replaced almost instantly.
"It's ok. Hey come here." He said as he pulled y/n into a hug.
"I don't want to keep doing this." She said.
"I know you don't. I'm so sorry." Bruno said as he stroked her hair in an attempt to soothe her.
"Want to talk about it?" Be asked after a few minutes. She shook her head up and down in response.
"Are you ready to talk about it?" He asked
She shock her head no.
"We don't have to." Bruno said as he continued to stroke her hair. "Let me know when your ready tho ok?" Bruno asked. She shook her head to acknowledged that she did hear him but didn't break from the hug. They just say there like that for a while. Bruno playing with her hair and softly humming a lullaby. After about an hour her tears had stopped and she was half asleep. Bruno laid her down and pulled the blanket over her shoulder. He went to go back tk his place but y/n grabbed his arm.
"Can you uh.... Maybe stay with me?" Y/n asked him.
"I won't leave y/n." He said to her. When she looked up at him he smiled.
'At least I know she doesn't hate me' he thought to himself.
Y/n pulled him onto the bed with her. He laid down next to her on top of the blankets while y/n tried to hid her face in them.
"You're cute when your flustered." Bruno said.
Y/n turned bright red and hid further into the sheets. After realizing he said that about loud and not in his head he immediately started to panic.
"I'm so sorry y/n! I meant to say that in my head." Bruno said in panic.
"Not much better!" Y/n said mumbling because she was still hiding within the sheets.
"I'm sorry I-" Bruno started but was cut off when y/n pulled him into a hug.
(Haha sucker you thought I was gonna say kiss. I have something better planned for that sucker)
"You're lucky your cute or I would have slapped you for that." Y/n said.
"Yay." Bruno squeaked before he hid his face in the crease of y/n's neck.
After about 5 minutes of them hugging y/n pulled Bruno to lay down. He got himself under the covers and went closer to y/n. She used him as a pillow and put her head in his chest where she could hear his heart beat. Bruno pulled the blanket up so it would be on her shoulder. Bruno put his hands under his head and closed his eyes.
"You smell good." Y/n mumbled.
Bruno smiled at her.
'Dios míos she really is the prettiest girl in the Encanto.' 
Bruno snuggled into the bed.
'Best. Day. Ever.' He thought to himself as he drifted to sleep.

"Bruno!" He heard y/n yell.
"Wha-what? What's wrong?" Bruno asked as he wiped the sleep from his eyes.
"You looked like you where having a nightmare. I thought I'd return the favor of waking you up like you did for me." Y/n explained.
"Thanks amor but I'm ok." Bruno said as he stretched a little bit. "Dios míos what time is it?" Bruno said reaching for his bedside clock.
"It's only 4 am?! Wasn't it 3:30 when we went to bed?" Bruno asked y/n.
Y/n handed him a note from his mom. It read
'I saw you and y/n sleeping so I'd thought I'd leave you be. However if I find out you two are doing certain things you are grounded for life. Love mom.' It said.
"What a lovely thing to wake up to." Bruno said.
"Ha ha no kidding." Y/n agreed.
"Well looks like we slept a day away. Do we go back to bed?" Y/n asked.
"I can't sleep anymore. I have an idea though..."
"Bruno I don't trust that look." Y/n said in a cautious tone.
"Oh it'll be fun come on!" Bruno said he grabbed her hand and raced to the elevator in his room. He hit the very top button that read 'do not touch'.
"Bruno it's says not to touch it." Y/n said to him.
"I'm the one that put the sign there. It's nothing dangerous." He told her.
"Ok...." Y/n said, still a bit uneasy of the idea.
Suddenly a ding echoed through the elevator and the doors opened. When y/n stepped out she realized she was on the roof of Bruno's tower.
"Wow." Y/n said.
"Great view huh." Bruno said
"No kidding! You can see the entire village from here! Look it! That's the library!" Y/n said pointing to what she saw.
"The bakery is right there." Bruno said pointing in a different direction.
"This view is amazing..." y/n said as she sat down.
"I know." Bruno said
They sat together in a comfortable silence for a bit. Nothing being said but nothing needed to be said. Y/n enjoyed the view of the Encanto. Never taking her eyes off of it. While Bruno decided to look at her more than the Encanto.
"What are you looking at?" Y/n giggled as she looked at Bruno.
"Just the prettiest girl in the entire Encanto." Bruno said with a smile.
"Stop it." Y/n said pushing Bruno away in a joking manner.
"What I'm not allowed to speak truth?" Bruno asked jokingly.
Y/n just hid her face with her hands and smiled at Bruno. Bruno pulled her closer to his side by her hip and smiled when she put her head on his shoulder. Y/n looked up to Bruno and smiled at him as Bruno did the same. Y/n put her hand on Bruno's check and looked at him, fully happy just to be near him. Bruno put his hand over y/n's and smiled at her. Then he took his hand of and used it to lift y/n's chin just a little bit more. Bruno leaned in and kissed her. Y/n froze when he did but after only a moment she returned the kiss. The kiss was sloppy and neither of them knew what they where doing but they couldn't be happier about it.
When they finally separated they stared at each other for a few moments.
"Oh wow...." Bruno breathed out.
"Ya no kidding...." Y/n responded.
They kept staring at each other but remained silent until there was a sharp shattering sound behind them. Both of them whipped their heads around and saw pepa standing there with a plate of food destroyed under her.
"Pepa! What are you doing up here? At this hour especially!" Bruno asked her. He wasn't mad that she was up there but for the fact she was up there and didn't tell him.
"Well I saw you and y/n up her so I thought I bring you some food but I got to see something even better!" Pepa said as the rainbow above her head got even bigger.
"Dios míos pepa you can't say anything!" Bruno said.
"Why not? Mama told me and Julieta she's the only one you're allowed to date right now anyway. I'm just happy it worked out!" Pepa said with glee.
"SHE WHAT!" Bruno and y/n yelled at the same time but they both immediately shushed each other and giggled.
"You two are totally soul mates!" Pepa said as she spun around.
"Shhhhhh pepa! Someone will hear-"
"We've been down here the whole time!" Julieta yelled from ground level.
"You two are very cute!" Brunos mother yelled from next to her daughter.
"Dios míos...." Bruno groaned as he hid his face in his hands in embarrassment.
"Y/N AND BRUNO SITTING IN A TREE!" Pepa teased
"K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" Julieta finished.
"It's ok Bruno." Y/n said patting his back trying her best not to laugh at how red he was.
"Now that we've made proper fun of him I'm going to bed. Night guys!" Julieta yelled from the bottom floor.
Brunos mom followed her back to her own room.
"I'll take the hint and leave." Pepa said, "make fun of you in the morning." She said as she got in the elevator.
"God that was so embarrassing!" Bruno said.
"They meant Well bruno. Be honest as soon as pepa and Felix kiss you'll be the same way." Y/n said.
"Good point but still." Bruno groaned.
"Here let's move to the other side of the tower so they don't see us." Y/n suggested.
"Works for me." Bruno said and he switched over to the other side of the tower.
Oh wow the view of the mountains are amazing!" Y/n said.
"Ya it really is. Guess I never look at the mountains." Bruno responded.
"That's sad cus they are gorgeous!" Y/n said pointing to all of it.
"Almost as gorgeous as you are mi vida." Bruno remarked.
Y/n turned a dark crimson and hid her face in her hands.
"Brunoooooooo!" She whined.
"What can't call mi vida gorgeous?" Bruno asked more mockingly then actually asking.
"Oh my gosh Bruno you're gonna kill me!" Y/n said.
"Well then this is my final blow." Bruno said.
In one swift move he pulled y/n's hands from her face and kissed her again. Y/n didn't waste any time and kissed him back almost immediately. Bruno put his hands on her checks while y/n used hers to prop herself up. After a while Bruno broke the kiss to catch his breath.
"Do that again." Y/n huffed.
He did exactly as he was told. Suddenly y/n's arms gave out which lead to Bruno being on top of her.They both stopped for a moment and laughed for a bit. They both sat there for a minute just trying to regain their breath.
"I'm doing pretty good for a first kiss huh?" Bruno said to y/n.
"Definitely doing good. How bout me?"
"Really good." Bruno said.
Y/n grabbed his face with both of her hands. They just started at each other for a minute.
"I really like your eyes." Bruno told y/n.
"And I like yours." She said looking at him fondly.
They sat there for a moment before y/n said, "let's go inside hm?"
"Ok." He said as he got up. He offered y/n his hand to help her get up. She gladly took it as she got into the elevator. They were in a comfortable silence the entire ride down. They stared fondly at each other any chance they got. When the elevator ding telling them they got back to the bottom floor Bruno offered her his hand.
"Thanks" y/n smiled shyly.
Bruno just smiled at her. They walked hand in hand back to the main part of his room.
"You ok?" Bruno asked her.
"Ya I'm ok." Y/n smiled as she flopped onto his bed.
"What do you want to do?" Bruno said as he joined her.
"Movies?" Y/n said as she pointed to the remote next to her.
"I like how you think." He said.
Y/n grabbed the remote and turned the tv on. After 2 hours (and a heated debate about which Disney characters where gay or not) they decided to watch Mulan.

(The gayest of all the Disney princess movies)

They spent the entire time quoting every last line and acting a few scenes out even. After the movie ended the both of them where tired from jumping around and singing as loud as they could. Both of them silently thanked god casitas walls where sound proof.
"That was fun!" Bruno said as he plopped back onto his bed after the last scene.
"And exhausting," y/n said as she laid down next to him, "I'm going to sleep."
"Hey give me some blanket!" Bruno yelled as he tried to take back part of the blanket y/n had.
"Get your own Bruno!" Y/n yelled, trying to defend her blanket.
"It's my only blanket though!" Bruno said in a playful tone.
"That's sad, anyway." Y/n said as she snuggled into the blanket.
Bruno grabbed the corner of the Blanket and got under it, getting as close to y/n as he could.
"You're so cold!" Y/n whined as she kicked Bruno away.
"Hey you're stuck with me forever. You can't escape me." Bruno as he grabbed y/n and tickled her.
"Promise me forever?" Y/n asked once he stopped.
"I promise."
