Andy's POV
Andy is walking down the school hallway, still feeling lost. He's relearned his way around the school, but it still feels like everyone is staring and whispering. "Hey, Andy," he hears an antagonizing voice coming from behind him. Turning around, he sees Blaine's girlfriend.
"Hi? Sorry, I don't remember your name." She gives him a look of disgust.
"It's Annie, you piece of shit. We've only been in the same class since kindergarten. Why would I expect you to remember my name?"
"I have amnesia."
"Sure you do. I think it's all an act, but whatever."
"Did you want something?"
"Yeah. I want you to stop trying to steal my boyfriend." People stop and stare.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Oh please! You're the walking definition of a f—"
"Alright, that's enough of that," Blaine quickly jumps in, cutting off Annie. Annie rolls her eyes.
"This is exactly what I'm talking about. You're so gay for each other!" The surrounding crowd grows larger. They're slowly surrounded by the murmurs of their judgmental peers.
"Annie, shut up! Neither of us are gay!"
"Go away, Blaine. Let your boyfriend talk for himself." Andy frantically looks around them. His eyes blur with tears. Blaine spins to look at him.
"Oh, no. Nope. You're not crying here. Not in front of the entire school." Blaine grabs Andy and pushes his way through the crowd, guiding Andy to the bathroom. Blaine pushes him into the largest stall and closes the door behind them.
"What did I do to her? Did I deserve this, Blaine?" Andy slides down the wall and sits on the floor in a fetal position. He struggles to catch his breath. All of his muscles tighten. His fists clenched.
"You don't deserve this, Andy. You did nothing wrong. You've done nothing to Annie." Blaine sits next to Andy and wraps his arm around him. Andy leans over, resting his head on Blaine's shoulder.
"Then why did she treat me like that? I can do nothing right." A choked sob escapes him.
"She's angry at me, so she used you to get to me." Andy stays silent for a little while, his head still resting on Blaine's shoulder. "Are you ready to go back out there?" Andy says nothing,, just shakes his head no. "Alright, we can just stay here. Can I ask you something?"
"Sure," Andy replies in a weak voice.
"Why did the things she said bother you so much?"
"Now the entire school thinks I'm gay."
"Yeah, but you can easily undo that. I mean, everyone knows you aren't." Blaine waits for a response but Andy says nothing. "You're not, right?"
"What if I was? Hypothetically. Would you still want to be around me?"
"Of course I would. You being gay wouldn't push me away. Is this really a hypothetical?" Andy simply nods. "Ok. What about you?"
"What?"
"Hypothetically, if I were gay. Would you still want to be around me?"
"Definitely," Andy raises his head and looks at Blaine. Blaine gives him a small smile and moves his body closer to Andy's.
"This is all hypothetical, though."
"Definitely... hypothetical." Andy puts his head back on Blaine's shoulder. He wonders how long they're going to sit like this, then realizes he would happily stay like this forever. Suddenly, they hear the bathroom door burst open.
