IT WAS a little under a week until whatever Odeya and Malia had seen at the station struck again. Scott called them a last night explaining that the creatures invading their home were taking the bodies of the failed attempts, which they also still knew nothing about. Tracy's body had been taken hours before and after calling Lauren's family about the funeral since they were having it in Mako Odeya found out her body was missing.

She swore she was going to make these things pay for what they did to her, to everyone.

So now she Malia and Lydia were in the living room of the Stilinski home, going through about everything that was even remotely similar to these things, and right now it was a book somebody wrote.

"Stiles says he can't find anything on the author. He thinks it's a pen name" Malia explained, handing them the copy.

"In a small New England town, teenagers are taken in the night and buried alive. Days later, they emerge transformed, wreaking havoc and spreading terror, commanded by an ancient order of parascientists know only as the Dread Doctors." Lydia read out loud.

Odeya shot up, "That sounds like our situation. How does it end?"

Malia scoffed, "It doesn't. This is supposed to be Volume One"

Lydia's face fell, she put down the bare novel, "Oh, let me guess, there is no Volume Two?"

"I think we're living it" Odeya corrected.

Lydia's face was unreadable, "Then maybe the real question is... Is this a novel or someone's prediction?" she asked rhetorically before flipping to another page of the book, a shocked look on her face. "Look at this. Look at the "Acknowledgements" page" she said holding it out for Odeya and Malia to see.

"'For providing scientific perspective and invaluable insight... this book is dedicated to Dr. Gabriel Valack.' Do you know him?" Malia read.

"Yeah. And I know where to find him"

MOUNTAIN ASH, of course Eichen wouldn't let the supernatural go in for a nice chat with the mental patients. Not like this was a life or death situation and only Stiles in Lydia were able to go in. Which by the way was incredibly hard to convince Stiles to even let Odeya come-and now all that convincing was for nothing.

You could just tell how much Stiles hated being back here and you couldn't blame him, his last time wasn't very pleasant. Even Lydia looked rattled and ready to leave already. But they needed answers and there was no way they were leaving without any.

So now while Stiles and Lydia went inside, Scott, Odeya, and Kira were left out in the front entrance feeling useless.

"I can't hear anything. Must be the mountain ash" Scott elaborated, his eyes dimmed a dull red when he tried to use his powers furthermore to hear.
