𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟕

So-hee forces a smile on her face as she opened the door. Jisoo stood there, grinning and ready to pull her in a hug.

" Why, you looks so sad. " Jisoo sighs as So-hee hugs her back, " Did you fight with your members? "

" No—"

A laugh that awfully sounds like (Hwasa)Hyejin's rang around, and she appeared down the hallway with Sejeong, both of them laughing about something.

So-hee smiles at the sight of them. She had missed hanging out with them, it had had a while since all of them had busy schedules.

" baby! " Hyejin runs over, pulling her in a tight hug. So-hee chuckles, used to being babied by everyone she met.

As Hyejin pulls away to greet Jisoo, Sejeong was already crushing her ribs. " What's going on, Sohi-ah? Why are your eyes red? "

" Let's go in. " So-hee sighs softly, " I'll make some tea and we can wait for others. "  Hyejin smiles, " It's alright. I'll make tea, all of you go sit. "

Minutes later, Irene and Wendy appear too, greeting the rest of them while So-hee wonders if she should speak her worry. She didn't want to burden them with her problems, but it was too late to avoid now.

She could tell all of them were just waiting for her to say one word and they'll be blasting questions at her.

" I think I'll be kicked out. " She blurts out, rendering all of them speechless. Irene blinks," What?! "

" So-hee-ah, did your company find out you're dating Namjoon-ssi? "

So-hee sighs softly, " I'm not dating him,
unnie. It's just....our contract ends next year but pd-nim told us he won't be including me in the contract anymore. I don't know why, but I think it was apparent. "

" That's not—why the fuck would your company do that? " Jisoo frowns, " I thought it was one of the few companies out there that cared for artist before reputation. "

So-hee crosses her arms, uncomfortable. " I'm not sure why. Everyone's in the meeting right now but I wasn't allowed. It's being discussed for a few weeks now. "

" What did the boys decide? " Irene sighs softly, giving her shoulder a squeeze. So-hee bites the inside of her cheek.

" that's my main worry. They refuse to sign the renewal contract if it doesn't have me. I don't want them to disband because of me. "

" sweetie, " Wendy frowns, " They're just hesitant to let go. Anyone would be after spending so much time together, and suddenly you have to leave them. It's a shock for us too. "

" I thought everything was going well? The concert and all. Even Grammys went as amazing as it could be. " Sejeong frowns, " What went
downhill? "

So-hee fiddles with her thumbs, sighing in comfort as Irene hugs her sideways.
" The staff and our manager were acting weird. We only thought it was because of the stress of concert
and all.  "
