The clock was ticking. So-hee was sleeping soundly, warm and wrapped against both Jimin and Namjoon because they won the rock-paper-scissors on who'll sleep beside her, which left the rest of them disappointed and Jungkook whining.
Namjoon grinned as he stared her, sighing softly. It was a little after midnight that all of them had gotten ready to sleep in Jin's room, since it was biggest by making make-shift beds.
He could hear snores from Hoseok and Jungkook somewhere around, they were so sound asleep. He smiled, the dorm seemed lively today, and everyone seemed to sleep without any problem.
He glanced back at the girl cuddled in his chest, Jimin hugging her back and their legs tangled. Namjoon wasn't much of a cuddler, but he always hoped he held her in her arms a few more nights now that they don't live together.
He should've used the days he had with her properly, he sighs softly, leaning down to place a soft peck on her forehead.
However, the few times he cuddled her, it was her request (and even though if he ever wanted to, he could never state his desire).
She would appear out of nowhere, climbing over him and curling up against his body like she knew he won't say it. How could he even oppose to that? He bites the inside of his cheek, brushing his knuckles against her cheek softly.
Besides, he loved holding her. She always looks so tiny against his frame. He froze as she stirs, cringing when he realised he probably woke her up.
" Joonie? " She whispered, looking up at him. He sighs, " Yeah? " He spoke gently, retreating his hand to himself. So-hee blinks away the sleepiness, " you can't fall asleep? "
" No, I was just...about to sleep. " He lowered his voice, " Sorry for waking you up. " So-hee shakes her head softly. Although a little difficult against Jimin's tight grip, she shuffled and nuzzles her face against his neck with a soft sigh.
" It's fine...." the two remain quite for a few seconds, just listening to each other's calm heartbeats. Namjoon sighs, melting as he felt her relax against him.
" When are you guys free again? "
Namjoon bites the inside of his cheek, " I don't know. " He sighed, " I'm not sure if Juseok hyung will let us go around alone anymore. "
" He comes around 7 in the morning, doesn't he? " So-hee sighs, falling quiet as Jimin stirs again. She glanced as he turns to face the other side, curling up against Taehyung instead.
She smiled, " That's cute. "
Namjoon grins, " Yeah, you're cute too. "
So-hee flushes, " Shut up. " she snuggled in his chest, sighing softly. " I'm glad we got to gather again. I felt terrible without you guys. "
" You can tell everyone is sad too, right? " Namjoon whispers, not wanting to wake anyone up. " It's so lonely in the dorm and everything just seems like....work now. "
