Ch.6:Training

"Da!!!"

I turn around and see Toby holding up a gun.My eyes go wide.I run over to him and take the gun out of his hands.

"No Toby,you can't touch these,"I say.I set it down on top of the stand for my 'initiates' to get.

Only eight people signed up,but it'll be enough.

Today we're going to have a training day.

I have this feeling in my chest that I can't seem to get rid of.I think its excitement,because I'm finally going to see Tris,and I'm finally going to be able to hold her,touch her,and kiss her again.

Maybe even more than that....

Most of all,Ill finally have my family.Ill have Tris,Toby,and Tyler.

My perfect family....

"Hey...Four!"

I'm snapped out of my thoughts by Zeke.

He just walked in with Shauna and Tyler.Shauna had taken Tyler to the restroom while I was setting things up.Zeke went with them to make sure nothing happened.

Shauna sets Tyler down.He runs over to Toby,who is playing with some of the toys he brought from home.

"Alright,what are we teaching today?"Zeke asks,rubbing his hands together.

I point at the knives,"We are going to teach them how to throw knives,"I point at the guns,"Were also going to teach them how to fire a gun properly."

Zeke nods his head,slowly,"Nice...that it?"

I nod,"Yeah...unless you have any other brilliant ideas."

"Hmm?"he says,rubbing his chin.He looks at me,"We should make them get fit."

"What do you mean by 'fit'?"I ask.

"Well,we'll make them run,then stretch,then probably work on some punching bags,"he says.

I nod,"Good idea."I pat his shoulder,"Nice job Zeke.You finally have bright ideas."

He slaps my hand off his shoulder,"Shut up."

I laugh.

Shauna laughs too.

Zeke looks at her,"Really babe?You too?"

She shrugs,smiling,"Four has a point...you don't usually come up with the brightest ideas...."

Zeke rolls his eyes,"Whatever..."

"Ok,its almost time for training to start."I turn to Shauna,"Take care of Toby and Tyler for me."

She nods,"Got it."

I look at my watch,"I think the 'initiates' should be outside already."

"I have a question..."Zeke says.

"What?"I ask.

"Why are you calling them 'initiates'?"he asks.

I shrug,"It reminds me of when I was an instructor.I was training initiates."

He nods,"Alright then."

"Toby,Tyler!"I yell.

They turn their heads to me.

I smile at them,"Come give daddy a hug and a high five before he has to do work."

They smile and run over to me.I kiss their heads.I put my hands up,"Give me a high five."They both high five one of my hands.

They wrap their arms around me.I wrap my arms around them as well.

"Bye da,"Tyler says,pulling away from the hug.
