Brooklyn ties

Part four

"Come on I'll find you something to wear and a bunk."

Axel led her up the staircase and to a closet where he started pulling out pants and some shirts.

Alex turned and  held out some clothes to her.

"They maybe big but will be alright just for tonight."

She took them and  gave him a small smile.

"I'm Axel by the way."

"Samantha it's nice to meet you."

"Ill show you to the wash room you can change and clean up."

"So how did she become leader?" Samantha asked as she followed him to the Washroom down the hall and he waited out in the hall leaning against the door as she stepped in leaving the door open a crack so that they could still talk.

"You mean Jade, the normal way, fighting her way throw the ranks proving that she can run Brooklyn."

"Surely its not a place for a girl to run a place like this, surely someone could beat her if they wonted to take her place?" Axel shook his head.

"Jade is as smart as any guy i know,  and we all trust her to do what is best for Brooklyn."

"I see, you must think I'm stupid  for coming here, knowing nothing about your world."

Samantha said as she followed him down the long hallway.

"Not stupid, uneducated about our world maybe."

Axel told her with a smile and a shrug.

They walked throw the bunk room, and he gave her a empty bunk near the door way, he gave her a blanket and was telling her good night.

"Axel." He looked around to see Jade setting on her bunk, she was finishing up braiding her hair as he walked over to where she set.

"Don't get to involved with her Axel, we know nothing  about her and  she....she isn't like us, she don't under stand how we live." "I'm telling you this as a friend not a leader, i don't wont to see you get hurt."

"I know that Jade and ill be careful."  both turned to see Samantha setting on the bunk her bow lay on top of her dress that she had lay on the end of the bed.

Jade scanned her over from head to toe. damn she could almost pass as a street kid in the brown pants and blue button down that Axel had given her, both where a little big but would work for the night.

"Hey girl you think your be warm enough we can find you another blanket if you need it." Jade called to her, from a where she set on her own bed.

"My name is Samantha not girl, and  ill be fine thank you." with that the girl pulled the blanket up over her and lay down her back to jade. Jade smiled a little at the attitude and bravery she hard in her voice.

Shaking her head, most of the guys picked that moment to come in and start getting ready for bed, Red already lay on the bunk closes to the window and was already a sleep how he slept with all the noise she didn't know.
