Brooklyn ties

Part three

It was late Friday afternoon and most of the guys where setting around playing cards, the cool breeze that came off the river was nice also helping to keep the heat at bay.  Some of the older boys noticed the three Manhattan guys first given them small nods as a greeting.  

"Where's Jade at?" Red asked as they stopped in front of the Brooklyn boys.

Bane and Talon stood to great them.

"Red nice to see you it's been a while." Bane greeted with a hand shake and pat on the shoulder.

Jade's up in the bunk room or was when i saw her last." 

Red nodded and him and Edge headed in to the lodging house NOx stayed and joined in one of the card games.

They headed up the wood stairs that led to the Brooklyn bunk room.

"They found Jade in the window with her back to them, staring out at the sky, when they walked in.

Decker lay on his bed a book in his hands, he looked up as they entered the room.

"Look what the cat brought in, didn't think i would be seeing  Manhattan boy's in Brooklyn not after our last run in." At his words.

Jade Glanced over at them, her Green eyes taken them in, a hard edge to  them as she stood but she stayed where she was.

"What are you doing here Edge, you made it clear when I saw you last you wasn't willing to help, so we have nothing else to say to each other."

"I'm trying to talk some sense in to him." Red stepped forward and pulled her in for a tight hug, she hugged him back. After a few seconds he stepped away from her with a small smile on his lips."

"Hows that working out for you, last i saw him i wonted to box his ears."

"I got him here didn't I." Red flashed her one of his breath taken smiles. Red and Jade where cousins, and had grown up together running the streets of Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Until Red joined Manhattan at the age of ten and Jade took up with the Brooklyn group at the age if eight.

After that Jade fought her way throw the ranks.

Jade turned her cool gaze to the Manhattan leader. "So what's the word Edge?"

"Red thinks we should help, I'm i still think we should stay out of it and not get involved till we have to." Edge told her leaning against one of the bedpost.

Jade stood, with her arms crossed and her calculating stare was enough to make anyone feel a little uncomfortable. after a moment she spoke her tone all business.

"We are sending guys over to each group to help even out there numbers, also to help train and teach them to defend them self's it would help if you guys could  send to the Bronx and Staten island, am rotating my guys out ever 24 hours."
