Brooklyn ties

Part fourteen

"You really are a stupid girl, no sense what so ever." Everyone's eyes fell on the Brooklyn leader that stood on the staircase, she was pale, her right hand was pressed to her ribs, she was Shaky, but the look in her eyes would have made any smart person run for the hills. Her gaze was angry and her green eyes flashed. Samantha slowly turned around her gaze on Jade.

Decker and Red moved to stop her, but Jade waved them off as they reached her. Jade stepped off the bottom step, her gaze never leaving Samantha's.

"Jade, please...." Samantha started but Jade stopped her with a look.

"No you, don't get to run back to your father, He wont stop because we stand in between what he wont's, and Brooklyn wont step down with out a fight, so you girl will stay where you belong and stop being stupid."

"Again with the girl... really." Samantha whispered with a frown her arms crossing over her chest. Jade let one side of her lips turn up before it was gone.

"Your Brooklyn, and Brooklyn looks after Brooklyn, I look after my own, your my friend. Her gaze moved over everyone in the room as she said it, before her green eyes stopped back on Samantha. " Your family." She added her gaze unwavering.

"Jade you should be up stairs resting." Decker told her gently. she turned her cool gaze on him.

"I should be but you Jerks would have just let the stupid girl leave, let her walk out of the dam door, and i would have had to kick all your ass', and then go after her." Jade told him, standing there was making her tired and she found herself leaning against the wall as she closed her eyes.

As everything was said and everything played out, nun of the guys moved as they watched Jade and Samantha, there leader was tired but be dam if she would back down till she new Samantha was safe, some of them didn't understand what she saw in the girl but one thing was for sure she wouldn't stop fighting for her.

"Jade, go to bed, Samantha will be here when you wake up again." Red stepped in and placed a hand against his cousin's shoulder. "I'll make sure, no one runs her out, ill kick there ass for you." He added softly so only she could hear. Jade's green eyes met her cousin's. After a moment Jade nodded, before turning and making her way back up to the bunk room with a little help from Decker.

Up in the bunk room, Decker had helped Jade back to her bunk, then moved to the window his back to her, as she watched him, his user relaxed shoulders where tense under his short sleeve t shirt. She studied him for a moment, before pushing herself to her feet with some effort, and moved to put herself between him and the window. He was about a head taller then her so, she turned her face upward, to lock her gaze on his face. The muscles in his jaw was tense, and his eyes where locked on the city outside.

"Decker?" Jade said softly, her voice brought him out of his thoughts but his gaze still stayed where they where, she moved her hand to rest against his cheek, her fingers light against his skin. "Decker look at me." His blue eyes finely left the window and looked down at her, there were emotion there that Jade couldn't work out. "Decker, tell me what's wrong?
He took a moment to answer her, but he finely let out a sigh and wrapped his arms gently around her, pulling her against him before he spoke.

"It's just until today, the life we live didn't really bother me, but when i realized how close i came to losing you, that's all i can think about, this life could kill us if we stay, we both have always known it i think but never really though about it until now." Decker told her as he rubbed his chin against the top of her head. Jade wrapped her arms around her, her head against his chest over his heart.

"I have though about that more then ones, but we cant leave till we know everyone is safe, then we can think about walking away if we wont to, my home is with you." She told him her gaze meeting his.

"Lay down with me, we will talk about this later for now i wont to sleep and i wont you beside me." Jade said already pulling him to her Bunk, she waited for Decker to climbed in first then she lay beside him her head back against his chest, her arm around his waist, his arm went around her also Jade's eyes started closing in seconds.

"I love you Jade." She hear Decker's soft voice whisper as she drifted off, she smiled. "Love you to." She said in a sleepy voice.
