Brooklyn ties

Part five

A little while later the bell rank and a older man walked in, he greeted Samantha's father with a hand shake and a smile.
he then turned to Samantha.

"You must be Samantha your father has told me so much about you my dear."

"Nice to meet you sir."

"These are my sons, Scott and Josh."

Turning to the door way Samantha saw two teenagers standing behind there father.

Both where tall with sandy brown hair, the older looking of the two had brown eyes and a hard edge to his features sent a chili down her spine the way he looked at her.
the younger of the two had hazel eyes and his features where a bit softer but still put her on edge.

She couldn't put her finger on it throw why they put her on edge.

                                                                                  "It's very nice to meet you both."

"Dinner is ready sir."Emily told them, and they all headed in to the dining room, Samantha set beside her father and there guest set a cross from them.

There was some small talk among the teens as there father's talked business.

Back at the Brooklyn lodging house most of the guys where just head back, Jade was one of the first back, and noticed the box's setting on the desk as she walked past it.

Picking up the note she read it then handed it to Talon, and Axel and Decker read it over his shoulder.
opening the box's they found the cookies and bread waiting for them.

"I don't get her." Jade whispered looking over her shoulder at the guys who had all gathered around.

"Well dig in i guess looks like she got enough for everyone." All the little ones grabbed for the cookies, but Axel made them get a piece of bread to go with it telling them, they had to eat something besides the cookies, they pouted but did as they where told.

Ones everyone got one of each, they headed off either to the bunk room or set in the front room talking.

"Axel, Decker come with me we need to head to Manhattan, to discuss, our next move."

"Talon make sure all the little ones stay in side, wont be back till tomorrow afternoon, going to head over to the other territory's."

"You got it Jade, you guys be carful." Jade nodded before the Three Brooklyn teens headed out.

Once Jade, Axel and Decker reached the Manhattan  lodging house, they where greeted by Will, one of the younger of the group he gave them a toothy grin when  he open the door.

"Hey there Will."

Jade hugged the little boy and Axel ruffled his blonde hair.

"Where's Edge?"

"Up stairs, with Red and Nox."

"Thanks buddy." Decker said as they headed up stairs.

Entering the bunk room, they found the three guys playing cards.
But as Jade's eye's moved from one guy to the other. A frown grow.

"What the Fuck happen to your face?"

She walked over and kneeled beside Red to get a better look.

His left eye was swollen shut and his lip was busted, a couple of bruises where also visible.

"You think I look bad you should see the other guy." Red grinned at his cousin who shook her head at him.

"Nox, Edge how's it going?"

Decker greeted them as he and Axel joined in around of cards.

"Fine fine, we sent guys over to Queens and of course Staten island."
"We got word that all was quiet  for the time being in Queens.
"But Staten island was hit yesterday, as you can see, but no big injurys."

"Good, now only if we could finger out who is behind the attacks maybe we could put a stop to them."

Decker said as he took too cards from Nox.

"Well I had a though about that." Red chimed In.
"What if we are dealing with a lower form of the mafia?"

"The mafia?" Jade said more to herself, then to the guys.
"What like a smaller branch?"

"Maybe, when Staten island got hit yesterday, I though I noticed a couple i recognize."

"I say we run with it see what we come up with." Edge throw in as he laid his cards down.

"Could be a solid lead." Jade whispered where she was setting. "Hell let's follow it."

"Ant nothing else panned out."NOx agreed, as he stood.
"Am out, going to go wash up and  head to bed." His eyes fell on Jade who had also stood.
"You guys staying the night?"

Yeah, though we would, wonted to wonder over to the other territory's tomorrow, see how things where going over there." Jade told NOx.

"See you in the morning then."NOx wondered off to his bunk.

The next morning Jade, Axel, and Decker got up with the Manhattan guys got some breakfast then headed out to see how the other groups where doing.

There first stop was Queen's, as the three Brooklyn teens entered Queens, Jade let a small smile tug at the corner of her mouth, they where being followed by some of Six's guys, all the way to the lodging house, ones there she knocked and waited for the door to swing open, Six stood there.

"Hey Six, hows things going?" She and the other two followed Six in to there small setting area and set down when Six waved them over.

Six was a tall thin teenage, with Dirty blonde hair and green eyes, he had some muscle on him throw, he was a great shot with a sling shot also.

"Fine,  Dragon and Shadow has helped a lot, there's so few of us throw not sure it will help." Six said sounding a little deflated.

"It's not the numbers Six its how you use what you got, your guys are smart and fast, give them the training and that may make all the difference in a fight." Jade told him.

"Your right, i really do appreciate your helping us out, i don't wont anyone else getting hurt."

"It's no trouble at all am glad we can help, Talon will be here sometime tomorrow to let Dragon come back to the lodge to work for a few days and catch his breath if we can do anything else just let us know." "We will get this worked out Six that i can promise."

ones she and the others left Six they headed to the Bronx before headed back to Brooklyn.
