Deku turned towards rody. "Hm?" He said, his ebony eyes shimmering. Rody hesitated for a moment. "I- you know how pino acts right? Well... her attitude... is the true personality of myself..." Deku tapped his chin for a minute. "So, pino is a personal soul spirit expressing your true intentions?" Rody shrugged. "Basically..." Deku immediately put the pieces together. "So that means... when she... was nuzzling me... that you..." he blushed. Rody nodded."she.. was admitting to you about.. my feelings..." he looked away, feeling stupid for having such a weird quirk. "Oh rody I think that's adorable!! Your shy enough that pino confesses for you!" Pino popped out of rodys jacket, chirping happily. "Y-yeah... shy... I wouldn't say shy..." the auburn stuttered. "More like, embarrassed... I don't even know if you actually like me... I'm just.. a weird quirk user who's just trying to get by life to keep his sibs safe..." he looked at the locket he wore. Deku took his hand, scooting closer. "Hey, I don't think your weird. I honestly think your amazing. Having a quirk like this can be a curse, but it's also a blessing in many ways. And who said I didn't like you?" Pino covered her mouth, her eyes wide. Rodys mouth went dry. Did Deku just confess without confessing??? "Are you saying.... You do have feelings?" Deku simply smiled, his freckles more defined in the firelight. "Exactly." He says. Rody looked away, his other hand touching dekus hand. "C-can I... I-can I kiss you?" He said the final part rather quickly. Pino covered her eyes with both wings, chirping amusingly. Deku stood up. "Let me get something.." rodys heart sank, thinking Deku just blew off his question. He watched as the greenette stood, walking behind him. He was waiting for the van door to open, rather, he was tugged backwards by his hair, a pair of soft lips meeting his. His face erupted in a red blush. "D-Deku... wow..." Deku returned to his seat with rodys hairband. "Figured it would boost confidence, it seems I was highly mistaken. Though that look you made was adorable." Rody was a flustered mess. He couldn't even speak. Deku just kissed him, and by surprise too. He couldn't believe it. "I-you... how... my... how did you get that?!" He settled on worrying on how Deku snagged his hairband. "Swiftness and you were distracted anyway. It was pretty easy." He handed it back, in which rody quickly put his hair back up into a simple ponytail. "Of course your gonna use some weird hero analysis." Deku chuckled. "We should probably start resting. We have a long day tomorrow." Rody nodded, and looked outside. At least they lost the cops... for now....
