A Different Outcome...? - Ninjago Fanfic

Chapter 3

Lloyd's POV:

The Bounty landed as all the Ninjas jumped down, though I had to stay behind until they explained his circumstances to the others. I took out the scroll from my pocket, examining the piece more carefully. The only thing written on it was...

"Sent to a world where their destiny is never..."

'Never what?'

I shook my head and kept it hidden, just as Cole yelled down from below.

"Hey Lloyd! You can come down now!"

I took a deep breath and exhaled, jumping down from the bounty and landing in front of them. I looked around and saw Skylor, Darreth, Mystake, and... dad.

I glanced at Mystake before turning away, remembering what happened to her in my world. Noticing, she chuckled and said:

"Young Master Garmadon wearing the Green Ninja Suit... I never thought I'd have lived to see another day."

Darreth looked confused, asking,

"Uh... what's the Green Ninja, lady? Surely the Brown Ninja can take em, right? Why is he here anyway...?"

I stepped back as Garmadon approached me, looking at me with a stern look in his eyes. I heard a voice from Skylor, who turned to Sensei Wu and asked:

"Darreth has a point. Why is Lloyd here?"

Cole stood in front of me as the others refused eye contact, all except for Kai who was still staring at me. Garmadon kept his glance on me before turning to his brother, who replied:

"It is because this Lloyd is not from our Ninjago. There is something I want to test out to prove my theory correct, however..."

I tilted my head and asked:

"What test?"

"Mystake, please do the honors."

Mystake nodded at Wu and approached me, giving me a cup of tea. She nodded and while I was hesitant, I drank it all, feeling much more relaxed then before.

"This is... something."

The other Ninja were all about to ask questions when suddenly, my power started spiking, showing a projection of... when I got sent to this world.

"Zane! We got to get the scroll now!"

Zane nodded and we both rushed towards the scroll tucked in a case, dodging a few attacks that came my way, but Zane wasn't lucky enough to dodge them. I stopped and reached out to him, but he said:

"Keep going, Lloyd!"

Zane quickly stood up and charged at Space Warper, nodding to myself as I grabbed the scroll, but Space Warper noticed, screaming in a fury of anger as they yelled.

"No!"

They sent an attack towards me, hitting the scroll and activating it,  I couldn't help but scream in pain as the Scroll's power activated and a portal appeared below me, sucking me in the portal as I tore off a piece of the scroll. The last thing I heard were the yells of my friends, all saying my name...

"Lloyd!!!"

...

Nya and Jay fought off Space Warper and Cole didn't move, his face filled with fear. Kai and Zane were the last people I saw reach out to me, but it was too late...

The projection ended as my power returned to normal. I was sweating and tired, but all I could think of was one thing... I left them with Space Warper.

"NO NO NO NO NO! I have to get back!"

I turned to Sensei and asked him, ignoring the others who were looking at me. I left them fighting Space Warper; what if they were sent to a different Ninjago too?!

"Sensei! Is there a way to get back?! I can't let what happened to me happen to them!"

I stared at Sensei Wu, looking shocked as he replied:

"I had not believed that such realities were true, but..."

Mystake interrupted Wu and stepped in front of him, saying to Lloyd.

"Lloyd. Follow."

I wanted to protest, but remembering her Oni bloodline, and my relations with them, did not want to get myself on her bad side and followed them in the camp; everyone beginning to question Sensei Wu and Dad at the entrance...
