In Vraiment Chic:

Wen and Mayu entered the luxuriously decorated food hall; pompous chandelier ornamented the ceiling like luminous bats and multicoloured ribbons flowed on the walls with such abundance that one could be forgiven for mistaking the place for a silk factory. Turning their heads towards the delightful aromas wafting from the left, they observed a queue forming next to the food.

"Gotta get me summah that", said Wen as she wasted no time in speed walking to the food like a grandma in a supermarket. As the queue progressed down the room, Wen and Mayu began an extensive critique of the cuisine so cautiously being displayed.

"€230?? That's madness!", Wen cried as her eyes fell on the price tag, "And it's such a small portion too! Smh, my consumer surplus is very low."

"Aww, but it's so soft and smol like Alina!", Mayu exclaimed, "It's so cute and delicate!"

"Honestly, is this what constitutes good food nowadays?", questioned Wen, completely ignoring Mayu's fawning, "Why should good food be decided by the minority in the upper classes and everything else is just unsophisticated grub? I mean, you see in MasterChefs they get these random people to compete, but then they expect them to just make dishes with such a specific composition style. Why is that considered the peak of cuisine? This is all France's fault for being tooooooo bad... Elitism has ruined the food industry and I will stick by this. Why has the industry decided that small, tiny little portions like Maru, ARE THE EPITOME OF FOOD???? HOW DO THESE MINISCULE PORTIONS FILL ANYBODY BUT AN ANT UP???? I AM NOT OKAY WITH THIS. WE SHOULD INTRODUCE MINIMUM PORTIONS LIKE MINIMUM PRICES IN MICROECONOMICS AND I'LL SAY- "

"Wen, Ethan's paying. It literally doesn't matter", Mayu interjected.

Wen turned to see several French people knocked over and lying on the floor, as well as a somewhat innocent-looking Mayu who was holding a massive stack of baguettes. Wen quickly gave up and followed suit, robbing the croissants like there was no tomorrow.
