EPISODE 5: MY GIRLFRIEND IS A WATERMELON

(Opening scene starts with Devi in her room, watching One Piece. She then feels her phone vibrate and sees a text from Venom.)
Venom: Hhey can Ruby and I come over tomorrow and watch Luca?
Devi: Why can't u watch it at ur house?
Venom: We don't have Disney plus :,3
Devi: Oh alr I mean I don't see why not
(Rook walks in and Devi looks up at her.)
Rook, smiling: Hey
Devi, smiling: Hey
Rook: How was dinner?
Devi: It was pretty good
Rook, sitting down next to her: That's good
(Rook looks over at the tv and One Piece.)
Rook: One Piece again?
(Devi quietly giggles, Rook quietly laughs along moving next to her. She wraps her arm around Devi and lays her head on her chest.)
Rook: I love you, Dev~
Devi, wrapping her arm around: I love you!
(Devi kisses Rook and they continue watching One Piece. A transition happens, showing the sun setting, it turning to night and the sun rising.)
(Next Morning, Rook wakes up in Devi's bed. She looks down and she notices she's holding a watermelon with Devi's glasses on it. She sits up confused as hell. She then gets up and walks downstairs to look for Devi. She looks all around and doesn't see her anywhere. She then hears a knock on the door.)
(She opens the door and looks up; it's Venom! ...and Ruby, they are both towering over the tiny rat girl.)
Venom: Hewwo!
Rook: Hey Venom! What are you guys doing here?
Venom: Dev didn't tell ya? We're here to watch Luca!
Rook: Oh alright
(Rook opens the door and they walk in.)
Rook: Actually speaking of her have you seen her anywhere? I looked all over.. I can't find her.
Venom: Hmm.. I don't think so.
(Ruby nods.)
Venom: Actually.... I don't know if this has anything to do with it but me and Hisani were skating lasts night and we seen some guy spawn a portal like.. right out there. (Points to the front lawn. Rook's face drops.)
Rook: Wait what???
Venom: Y-yeah- ya think it has something to do with Devi disappearing or-
Rook: Maybe. Cmon I need to show u something.
(They all go upstairs to Devi's room and see a watermelon on her bed, wearing her glasses.)
Rook, tearing up: What if.... The guy turned Devi into a watermelon.
Venom: Uh.. hey, it's ok, maybe.. we can turn her back? Somehow?? Ruby, people with magic can turn people into watermelons right? ...
Ruby: Oh yeah. Neo talks about his brother turning people into watermelons.
Venom: Mmmmmhhh.....
Ruby: But I think it's only the really powerful soul magic people that can do it.
Rook: So we can't turn her back?
Ruby: Nah
Rook, holding the watermelon in her arms and crying: D-Devi.... I'm sorry......... I'm sorry!!!
Venom: So... is there someone who CAN turn her back?
Ruby: Yeah! Kings and stuff in hell can, only the soul ones tho.
Venom: Well shit. (Turns to Rook) Guess we're going to hell to get her back.
(Venom gets up)
Ruby let's spawn a portal! (Shoots a shadow beam at Ruby, who then proceeds to suck it up and turn into shadow Ruby. Ruby cuts a hole in the floor with her claw, the hole turns into a portal.)
Venom: Hell yeah!! Cmon Rook, (shoves the watermelon into his void chest and picks up Rook) let's go turn Devi back!
(Venom jumps into the portal with Rook. Ruby looks down.)
Ruby: Good luck!!
(They jump down and see the blue lava, the soul sand and the village they are surrounded by. Venom sets Rook down.)
Rook: Woahhhh....
Venom, smiling: This looks sick as shit!! I've never been to hell before!
Rook: Yeah me neither!
(The two start walking. Venom looks around for any other buildings except tiny shacks.)
Venom: Mmmhh....
Rook: Uhm.. we know what we're looking for right?
Venom: Yeah! A soul house I think. Soul cities have those but I don't see one...
(Venom notices a demon eating a mushroom and goes over to talk to him.)
Venom: Hey! Uhm, quick question,
Demon: Hm?
Venom: Ya know where the soul house is?
Demon: ...Any reason?
Venom, pulling the watermelon out of his chest: Mhm.. our friend turned into a watermelon.
Demon: Oh...... Uhm.. how do I put this.. they don't help earth people.
Venom: .....
I'll make them help us.
(Puts the watermelon back in his chest)
Tell us where it is anyways.
Demon, sighing: Alright.. so, past the jungle, the city is like, right there. You'll see a tall black and blue thing, that's the soul house. I'd imagine you'd use your wings to find it so I hope that helps.
Venom: Nice! Nice, that'll do. Thanks for your help!
(Venom and Rook walk away towards the jungle. They both then hear a "mew" in the distance and look over at a newborn cat head in the sand.)
Rook: Is that a kitten?
(They both run over to it.)
Rook: Awwwh :(
Venom: Hm. I forgot what this was.
Rook: ...it's a cat.
Venom: Mm-mm. I think it was a mushroom????
Rook, trying to dig up the cat with her rat paws: Mm.
(Rook tries to pull it out, but instead the ground comes up and she hangs onto the cat head for dear life. Venom falls down and looks up at the monster, a shroom demon with an eye and spider legs, the cat appears to be just a fake cat head, with Rook clinging onto it desperately.)
Venom: ROOOOK!!!
(Venom gets up and flies up towards the top. He grabs Rook and flies towards the jungle with the demon behind them. Venom whips around all the mushrooms, while the demon makes them fall down. All kinds of creatures are screaming and running for their lives. Venom then sees a cave and flies into it deep. He sets Rook down and sits down. The mushroom demon attempts to follow him, clawing inside, trying to get at him. Until Vrnom shoots a shadow beam and the demon jolts back, letting out a screechy roar. It then runs away, leaving Venom catching his breath and Rook's heart beating.)
Rook: Holy shit.... Uhm... you ok?
Venom: Y-yeah... Im sorry... I forgot what that was.
Rook: I-it's ok. It's gone now... I think.
(Rook peaks her head out a bit and see the demon is nowhere to be seen.)
Yeah. It's gone.
Venom: Good... (notices the mushrooms) ...but hey at least were in the jungle!
(Notices a lava hippo walking over.)
We should proly get to finding this place huh?
Lava hippo, walking over: Hey.
Venom: Uh, hey?
Lava Hippo: You caused all this? (points at the fallen mushrooms)
Rook: ...we were just being chased by a mushroom thing...
Venom: Yeah, you seen that right?
Lava hippo: Yeah,
(Points at Rook) I seen you touching his cat too.
(Looks at Venom) He was comin to beat YOUR ass cuz HE hates HIS CAT BEING TOUCHED.
Venom: Sir, we're very so—
(Gets punched by lava hippo and crouches down in pain.)
ACK!!
Lava Hippo, picking up Rook: And for you... I have the perfect idea for you.
Rook, tearing up: He said we're sorry-
Lava Hippo: SORRY DOESNT CUT IT!!
(The lava hippo walks over to the lava and grabs her arm.)
Lava hippo: This calls for something else entirely.
Rook, crying: Wh-what ARE YOU DOING- STOP!!
(Lava Hippo tries to push her arm into the lava, but Rook pulls back with all her strength. Until—)
Lava Hippo: AGGGHH!!! GET THE FUCK OFF ME!!!!
(A avid Dragon has tackled the lava hippos face, chewing on it and scratching. She then pulls him down, choking him)
Avid: STOP FUCKING WITH EVERYONE!!!! THEY DID NOTHING WRONG!!!!
(Venom walks over.)
Lava Hippo: YOU BIRD BRAIN BITCH GET THE FUCK OFF OF ME!!!
(The two fight for a while.)
Venom: Rook,, you ok?
Rook, crying: I-I think..... I almost had my arm burned off.
Venom: I-I'm sorry... hug? (Holds his arms out, Rook then hugs him and he hugs her. Lava then splashes as the lava hippo goes down.
Avid, out of breath: Man.... I fucking hate that guy. You guys ok??
Venom: Yeah were alright. I mean... she's a bit scarred probably but it.. coulda been worse.
Avid: Yeah.. I agree. What are you guys doing here anyways? If,,, you don't mind me asking that is.
Venom: Not at all! Uhm.. our friend turned into a watermelon so we're tryna find a way to get her back.
Avid: Oh!
Venom: Heh... yeah....
(Rook backs up from the hug.)
You ok?
Rook: Yeah, uhm.. (turns to Avid) by the way, thank you for saving me from... that.
Avid: Oh, of course! Uhm, you don't mind telling me your name do you?
Rook: Rook
Venom: Yeah.. I'm Venom!
Avid: Nice nice! I'm Lemon.
Venom: Nice to meet ya! Actually fun fact we're on our way to a soul house. Now... where exactly is it?
Lemon: Oh the soul house? I can show ya if ya want!
Venom: That'll be great!
(Lemon nods and she starts to fly away.)
Lemon: Follow me!
(Venom grows and gets down on all fours, Rook hops on and Venom flies up, following Lemon.)
(While flying for a bit, Rook looks down and sees the mushrooms below be replaced a park, and then buildings and different types of mushrooms. She then looks up at the different dragons and demons flying around, some staring at her, and some vibing.)
Lemon, pointing it out: There it is!
Venom: Thanks!
Lemon: Not a problem! Also!!
(Venom stops and looks back at her.)
I think you should know... it's gonna be a bit hard for them to help, since they have this weird thing going on,, where earth people can't go in. I hope I don't sound rude..
Venom: No your fine. Someone already said that anyways. It's fine tho we'll try!
Lemon: Alright, Good luck!
(Venom nods and flies away, towards the Soul house and lands near it. Rook then gets off and Venom shrinks.)
Rook: Uhm.... Venom......
Venom: Hm?
Rook:.....you ever get that feeling that people are just.... Staring at you? Judging you? Judging your every move, your every thought?
Venom: Sometimes.. but hey I get weird looks all the time. What I do is I stare back. Intensely. I don't stop staring at them until they have completely walked away. Oh and the whole judging you thing, I don't get why people would be judgey,,,,, unless if they jealous as hell that they don't drip the fuck out like we do.
Rook, laughing: Yeahhh...
Venom: Yeah. I don't know why people would be judging you tho. Your pretty, your talented, your nice, like if I were you I'd doubt it'd be you it'd be them cuz they be projectin—
Guards: What are you two doing here?
Venom: Oh hey! Uhm, so our friend turned into a watermelon—
Guard #1: And you want us to do something about it??
Guard #2: Yeah, this isn't MagicCare.
Rook: ...what's MagicCare...
Venom: There's.... A king in that building behind ya right?
Guard #1: Well yeah—
Venom: And that king is powerful, and can turn people into watermelon right?
Guard #1: Mhm.
Venom: So if he can turn people into watermelon, then he can turn them back to normal, before they were a watermelon. And we need that on our friend here.
Guard #2: Well your not getting it.
Rook: We can't like.... Make it quick or anything? Could I pay you or something??? Anything to turn my wife back...
Guard #1: No.
Rook: ... Please?
Guard #2: She said NO. We're not letting you in.
Guard #1: Earthlings can't come in these kinds of buildings. Especially you and your tiny friend.
Guard #2: Yeah. Plus the king has important stuff he's gotta deal with at the moment.
Rook: .......
(Turns back to Venom and walks away.)
(Venom follows her to the benches near the gates.)
Venom: Rook.... Im sorry... I don't know what to do now.....
Rook: .....Devi was my life...... if she can't turn back I'll ...... (breaks down)
Venom, hugging Rook: I'm sorry.
(A second or two passes of Rook crying into Venom. Until—)
???: Your tryna get in the soul house too?
(Venom and Rook both look up at what looks like a neon and black manticore Lynx, and a limbless hellhound next to him.)
Venom: Y-yeah-
Lynx: Yeah.. us too. We're tryna figure out how to turn Raven (points at the hellhound) here back to normal
Raven: Yeah. What are you two here for?
Venom, digging the watermelon out of his chest: Were... trying to get her girlfriend back to normal. She turned into a watermelon...
Lynx: Damn..
Raven: Hmm.. actually I think I remember coming across a vent system last time I broke in and it comes out of the house too.
Venom: Oh! That's great! Didn't know that
(Rook and Venom both glance at eachother)
Rook: So... you two have any other plans?
Raven: Ohhhh yeah. Every king comes with a spell book.
Jupiter: Yeah I think I thought of something!
Venom: Cool cool let's hear it!
(Cut to all four of em in a vent)
Jupiter, with Raven on his back: Oh and uh.. I'm Jupiter by the way! Just in case I haven't told ya.
Venom, with Rook buried in his void chest, her heads poking out: Venom! (Points at Rook) and that's Rook!
(Rook smiles, looking adorable as ever)
Jupiter: Nice to meet ya guys! Yknow.. normally we don't—
(Jupiter stops, he hears people talking through a vent window.)
King Lucifer: Hey Mark you hear that?
Belian Cop: What?
King Lucifer: ...... it stopped. Anyways—
Jupiter, whispering: Alright guys.. remember what we planned. Wait for the time t—
Rook, whispering: I wouldn't just... go for it. I'd wait till the Guard passes.
Raven, whispering: Yeah.... We don't need any eye witnesses.
Jupiter, whispering: ...thats what I just said?
King Lucifer: Yeah, make sure you enforce them rules!
Cop: Will do.
King Lucifer, grabbing lotion and opening his laptop: Heh.... Back to what I wa—
(Jupiter tackles him)
AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
(Raven flies down with her magic and Venom drops down. Raven goes to a bookcase and Venom yeets Rook at the bookcase.)
Raven: QUICK HELP ME FIND THE SPELLBOOK!!!
(Rook nods while Venom, Jupiter and the King fight. Jupiter chokes Luci, but Luci grabs him and throws him onto the desk. Jupiter grabs the computer and smashes it onto his head. The king thwacks him away, knocking him towards the ground. Venom springs up and shoots a beam at his face! The king grabs his desk and squeezes it, causing it to turn to sand and he blows it at Venom, who then blocks himself with a forcefield. He then pushes the forcefield towards the king, which hits him! The king sees Jupiter running over, he shoots skulls at the Lynx, but he bats some back it him, which hit him and he tackles him, slashing him with his claws! The king grabs him and chokes him,,, he then throws him to the wall. Before the Lynx can do anything else, the king slashes him with a flag pole. After realizing he's being slashed, he grabs onto the flag pole, and kicks at the king! The king bites onto his legs and whips him around. Venom then flies over and bonks him in the head with his hammer. But then the king grabs his tail and throws him down. Venom beams at him and tackles him.
....meanwhile, Rook and Raven are still there. Rook is flipping through the pages of the spell book while Raven has her limbs back. She sees a worm out and bloody Jupiter below her.)
Jupiter: Raven.... I don't think I can go on.... He's too powerful for me.....
Raven: Don't worry I'll take care of it. Just go in the vent.
(Raven walks up to Venom, who is spinning the king around with his hammer. The king gets thrown to a window, which shatters. Raven runs over with his Spear and slashes him, she then picks him up and throws him! The King is obviously weak from this, but that doesn't stop him from trying to win. He looks at Venom and shoots a beam at him, turning his hammer into a watermelon. He runs and hides behind a table as the King shoots everywhere. He then gets an idea and takes out the watermelon. The table then turns into a watermelon and he sees the king shoot at Rook and she flinches, expecting fate As the beam is flying towards her, Venom jumps in front of her with the watermelon. The watermelon then turns back to Devi as they both land. They then crawl behind a couch.)
Devi: The fuck is going on...
Venom, digging around in his void chest: Doesn't matter right now I'll explain later! (Shoves snow in his mouth)
(Venom peaks up, the cushions on the couch are turned into watermelons and he shoots the snow at the king's head! Who then faints from impact. Rook finally looks over.)
Rook, getting up: Devi your normal!!
Devi, also getting up: Hm?
Rook, hugging her: Thank fucking god I thought you were gone!
Devi: ??????? (Looks at Venom in confusion)
Venom: You were turned into a watermelon.
Devi: Ohhhh... Y-yeah, I'm glad I'm back too :)
Rook: I missed you Devi
Devi: I missed you!
(Devi and Rook nuzzle)
Venom: Awwwwww! 🥺🥺
Raven: Hey!! No time to screw around let's go!! I hear guards comin!
Rook: Yeah, alright alright heheh
(Cut to them coming out of an outdoor vent, a couple of guards and cops are around as they come out. They get seen and they all fly away, with the guards and the cops after them. The cops shoot at the kids, but Venom grows an eye on his tail and shoots back! This goes on until they reach the beach and the lava ocean, where Venom forms a forcefield hoverboard and surfs on the lava, distracting more cops and making them fall down. They all reach the jungle, but before Venom lets off on the lava, he passes the Lava Hippo, drenching him in lava and annoying him. He then flies up towards the mushroom trees and swerves all around them. In fact, his friends do too, only a few cops hit the trees and faint tho, the rest keep following them. He then sees cat heads sticking up and shoots beams at both of them. They come up and the kids fly past it, but the cops stop in horror and get swallowed up by the mushroom demon. They keep flying until they reach what looks like a restaurant and land behind it.)
Raven, panting: I think we got rid of the cops...
Venom, letting Devi and Jupiter off his back and shrinking: Yeah I think we did too...
Jupiter: Uhm... quick question, you three from earth right?
Venom: Yeah! Yeah we are why?
Jupiter: Well.. yknow, just in case you need to go back Raven here can spawn a portal for ya if ya want.
Venom: Alright
(Raven nods and gets out her machete. She then cuts a hole in the floor as it turns to a portal back to their neighborhood. Devi jumps in.)
Venom: Oh! Uh, before we go, I just wanna say, thank you for helping us.
Rook: Yeah, thank you so so much. I couldn't be happier right now.
Jupiter: Aww, of course! We're happy to help.
Venom: Whelp (grabbing Rook) BaBye! Hope I see ya again!
(Jupiter waves bye as Venom jumps in. All three are back in earth and Raven closes the portal.)
Rook: Venom..
Venom, putting Rook down: Yeh?
Rook: Thank you for helping. I really appreciate everything you do for us.
(Devi nods in agreement.)
Venom: Awww of course! I care about ya guys
(Ruby sees them and walks off the porch.)
Ruby: Hey! How was hell?
Rook: Pretty... interesting.
Venom: Yeah we almost died like... three times but we're good! Devi's back to normal at least.
Rook, laughs: Yeah
Devi: Yeah I'm glad I'm back
(Rook laughs and they start to kiss.)
Ruby: Actually I feel kinda bad now...
Venom: Why's that?
Ruby: I actually started watching Encanto without you...
Venom: Oh don't feel bad! You can always restart it
Ruby: Yeah..
Venom: Whelp, let's head in then!
(Ruby nods and follows Venom in, along with the other two lesbians. They all go in to watch Encanto.)
