Peeta, Finnick and I are excited. We find out our rankings today and pick our jobs in two days. Four and Tris walk in with the board. "Congratulations. Each of you have proved you belong here. So, I will now show you your ranks." I'm first, with Peeta and Finnick on my tail. Adam is eighth. "I will not be outranked by a kid named after a plant!" He storms off. We go celebrate. Finnick goes and gets his hair dyed black. He looks gooood.
Later That Night
I go get a drink from the fountain. As I turn around there is an initiate with a big fro. He grabs me and drags me to the chasm. "Bye, bye, Plant Kid." He shoves me and I feel water.he runs and I get up. Peeta is right by my side. "You okay?" I nod. We don't go to the dorms. We go sleep side by side on a table in the dining hall. At breakfast Adam walks up." I'm sorry, I don't know why I," I cut him off. "If you ever come near me again, I will kill you." He walks away. But he is going somewhere strange. He walks onto the bridge over the chasm. He smiles at me, as if saying 'here ya go'. He jumps right off the ledge. I run to the chasm, about to jump in too. Peeta grabs me and takes me to the dorms. "Four told me to tell you we pick our jabs tonight. I want to be a initiate trainer and work in the control room. Oh you might want to read this." He hands me a crumpled paper.
