Apartment

I get the keys to apartment 46. My neighbor on the left is Marley. She chose Dauntless a year before me. My neighbor on the right is Peeta. My kitchen is gray, the living room and bathroom are black. My bedroom is Maroon. Since I am a tattoo artist, I have two sketch books and colored pencils. I am also an initiate trainer. I go shower and wash my hair. I decide to go to the pit and see if I can make any new friends. I go and sit by the chasm. A boy wals up to me. He has brown hair that goes to his chin. He plops down next to me. "Hey, I'm Jake." "Katniss. You look familiar." "Yeah. I was an initiate last year. Do have any friends?" "I have three. Peeta,Finnick and Che'. You want to be my friend?" "Yeah. I only have two. Hey Kayla! Brandon! Come here! This is Katniss." "Hey!" Kayla is about 5'2" and Brandon is about 5'4". Brandon has a tattoo of the dauntless symbol on his shoulder. His hair is dyed like a red-black color. We go to Jake's apartment. All his rooms are charcoal gray. "You wanna watch a movie?" "Yeah. Let's watch the Hunger Games!" We watch Hunger Games, Catching Fire and Mockingjay Part 1. It's about 3 am. We go home. That morning, I get a text from Jake. "Meet at my house at 12. Bring your friends. Wear layers. See ya later." Wear layers. What? I go tell Marley and peeta. At noon, we walk to apartment 35. I knock and go in. Brandon, Jake, Donavan, Lynn and Ash are sitting on the living room floor. We join them. "You ready?" We all nod. Jake says, "Ash. Candor or Dauntless?" "Um, Dauntless." "I dare you to.... kiss someone in this room you would date." She crawls over to Donavan and plants a kiss on his cheek. She goes to her place. "Brandon. Candor or Dauntless?""Candor." "You pansycake. Do you like anyone in this compound?" "Yeah. I like... I like Lynn. And I have something to say. Lynn, we have been dating for two,years. When I first met you, I knew you were special. Lynn Elizabeth Johnson, will you marry me?" "Yes Brandon!" I am called last by Lynn. "Katniss. Candor or Dauntless?" "Ha. Stupid question. I ain't no pansycake. Dauntless." "I dare you to play 7 Minutes in Heaven with...... Peeta!"

We are sent to a closet. After the door is shut, Peeta whispers,"Katniss. I love you. I've had a crush since second grade. And now we've been dating for three years. Will you marry me?" I feel a big dorky smile cross my face. "Another stupid question. Duh! Yes,Peeta! Yes!" He scoops me up bridal style. We burst through the door. He nods and we scream, "WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!" We hear a chorus of congrats and amazing.
