We go to the dorm and find a surprise.

"Surprise!!! Happy birthday McKenzie!" I smile. "Guys you didn't have to do this!" Jason(20jflood) Josie, TT, and Mar stand in front of the small table. They move out of the way, and i see a 4 layer dauntless chocolate cake with purple icing. It says happy 17 birthday! I was born a few days after the choosing ceremony, so I turned 16 after last years ceremony so I chose this year. "I have the best friends in the world!" TT says, "Who are they?" I point to them. "Duh! Let them have cake!" I scream. But I get there first. I grab a fistful of cake and shove it in my mouth, while winging a chunk at
TT.

Once we were done, I think I was the only one who actually got some to eat. They bring out a mat and tell me to sit and close my eyes. "Open your eyes." I open them and gasp. I am surrounded by boxes of presents. Each of them and my trainers got me some. From Four and Tris, I got 500 points, black jeans, a black shirt and maroon pillows. From TT I got a black and grey blanket with the dauntless symbol in maroon. From Jason I got a box" of candy, a pillow case that says Dauntless Initiate: 2015. Mar gave me a little box with a hole poked into the top. I yanked off the lid and found a beautiful, little black kitten with a maroon collar. Josie and Kylee got me an expensive present because it is a black bracelet with 6 maroon diamonds, and it says McKenzie K. My initials. They run to the dining hall and get more cake for us. We play truth or dare until 7:30. "Guys, thank you for the party. We should get ready and clean up."McKenzie. Hold on. We have a final surprise. But put on this blindfold."I listen to Jason and we go somewhere. I feel a breeze, and know we are outside. We stop. Jason stops us. "Okay. Take off the blindfold."
