6A - Sulkyton

The news about Fang reached many cities in Frownesia. The rebels were quickly mobilizing their army for the next battle. They quickly moved to the bordering provinces and captured land a few miles from the Fang border. As they moved through Sulkyton, they were met by the government's sacrifices, and by sacrifices, I mean soldiers. Wait, why'd I use that word? Huh, weird.

Frown and the rest of the team were driving a vehicle into Sulkyton, along with a few others.

Frown: "We should meet some soldiers here and then from here."

Gwen: "This is the less urbanized area of Sulkyton so we should be okay, at least for now."

They approached some high hills which were hard to pass. Little did they know, they would receive a surprise.

Frown: "Hills aren't this hard to go through."

A gunshot was heard in the distance.

Emily: "Did you hear that?"

Gwen: "Looks like they are here."

Both sides engaged in a shootout and many were killed. Frown was brave and attached a heavy machine gun to a truck and started shooting away. The truck was too fast for the pace of the soldiers. Many took cover, while the rebels threw explosives. More soldiers came to their aid. Some had machine guns and explosives. Frown ordered a bombing to be done. While it was coming, the rebels quickly moved through the soldier's defenses. Breaking every piece of barbed wire the enemy had made. Their firepower was too much for soldiers, so some retreated while others surrendered.

They all stopped shooting and some rebels took the POWs to a base in Fang. The others moved on with their advancement. More soldiers were imminent so they approached with caution. After no sign of soldiers, they entered the city. Many rioters greeted them and wished good luck for them. At last, a group of soldiers headed their way. They were much more trained because of Doom's mobilization. Which made the rebels have a hard time pushing them.

Frown: "Well we're going to have a rough time here."

Emily: "You can say that again."

They managed to get through the soldiers and pushed through the city. This victory was short lived however. It's not going to be sunshine and rainbows from here.

Frown: "The good thing is that we made it through the city."

Gwen: "What's the bad thing?"

Frown: "Our fighting isn't going to be enough to push them back."

More soldiers came and erased a lot of rebels from Frown's group. They didn't give up. Gwen used her thinking and pulled out one of her own weapons. It was a mini black hole generator. The black hole sucked up most of the soldiers and killed them.

Gwen: "Haha! Yes!"

The soldiers that didn't get sucked up by the black hole retreated in fear.

"Go, go, go!"

They now were pushing into the city with less than a thousand people. I wonder how that's going to work out. The rebels built defenses in the spare time they had so most of Sulkyton was fortified. The rebels called for more people to the front. They arrived with tanks and more explosives. Frown got on a tank moved through the city.

Since the city was next, heavy resistance followed. Frown shot everywhere but it wasn't enough. The rebel's attempts to move forward didn't succeed. The soldiers couldn't push the rebels and the rebels couldn't push the soldiers. The rebels needed to come up with a plan.
