Death

Sadness

Despair

That was the war.

But would it end?

The answer is closer than you think.

Fear went back to headquarters to report his findings.

"Boss!"

"Yes?"

"I'm sorry to say that we lost Sanjin."

...

"Go there and make sure that they don't get any closer to The Capitol!"

"Yes, boss."

Their forces were stationed in Hailer waiting for the attack. Morning came and a few rebels had begun entering Hailer. However it wasn't an accident that they sent little force there. Fear and Malice had been sent to Hailer to deal with the situation. They were expecting some sort of battalion.

But...

Nothing...

Was this a joke?

A prank?

A trick?

Whatever it was, it didn't feel right.

They were searching everywhere for any sign of NeoZad forces.

In the subway, no.

In the streets, no.

In the air, no.

So where were they?

The two were confused until they got a message from Hazard. He was detecting movements of people crossing from Sanjin to Despairian. The two then knew what was going to happen. They had to act quickly. There were little to no forces in Despairian which made it easy to lose.

Their teleportation powers could be used but it was small areas at a time.

Other Doom lords were probably there at Despairian, so the two didn't go in a hurry much. By the time they arrived, The Movement had already gained some territory. It was already too late to gain the advantage and they needed to act quick. The two helped the forces there defeat some rebels. It worked, a little though. The amount of shots made it dangerous for any soldier to shoot back. Blood was splattered on the windows of buildings and on the ground. Bodies laid down on the floor and screams of dying soldiers can be heard. It was pretty much hell for the two sides. Everyone was tired of war, but they both didn't want to lose. This battle would determine the results of the entire war.

Malice used his abilities to stall the upcoming attack. Fear used teleportation to ambush the rebels.

They then heard a crowd yell "We shall fight for the King!"

King?

There was no King.

Ramler and Sadler had died years ago. The prince had also died.

Maybe these guys are monarchists?

Then, distant screams could be heard. An angry mob of protesters ran through the streets with some rebels following behind. Their mission was to free the city from any Doom Lord rule. The soldiers saw so many mobs that the only thing they had in their mind was them. The Movement had made significant gains through Despairian. The rebels knew the Capitol would be very hard to go through, but they couldn't give up when they persevered through the war. Because the Movement was close to winning, many citizens formed mobs to take control of cities that the Movement had not gone through yet. The government could not handle the amount of people like that and declared martial law. Soldiers were deployed everywhere to keep everything at bay. Many soldiers quit their jobs to side with rebels. They couldn't cope with the horrible conditions anymore. The Frowntown Mud Buds kept losing. Unemployment rates were high and the jobs paid little to no money. They wanted something new. A ruler fit for Frownesia. Someone that wasn't a doom lord. Cities like Koustor and Lunaro had tons of chaos emerge

The rebels got closer and closer to the Capitol. Fear and Malice had all drained their powers. When they realized they were the only ones left with many rebels in front of them.

The two were backed up by some soldiers and started firing away. Frown hid in an alleyway.
The rebels all died except for Frown's party.

Hey! It's the same rebels that beat us back in Sanjin!

Fear looked at them as they recognized them.

He noticed Frown was missing though.

By the time he finished noticing them. A shadow like a dragon figure flew past them.

"It's the shadow dragon we saw earlier!"

"Get him!"

The soldiers quickly ran up and Frown started doing anything to get rid of him.

Frown wasn't quick to notice and did get a few bullets thrown at him. Three bullets got on his left wing which hurt a bit. It hurt to fly and Frown had no choice but to run instead. He charged at the people who shot him. Fear and Malice stepped in to help. Malice used his horn abilities to throw a massive fireball at Frown. It had stunned Frown a few seconds. Fear charged into Frown to finish him, but Frown escaped just in time.

That's when Frown pulled out a semi-automatic rifle.

He shot the goons around him and used the stock as a melee weapon.

Malice checked his surroundings. Him and Fear were the only ones there.

Frown ran up to them and knocked them onto the ground and approached them.

"Don't shoot."

Frown went closer in.

"I have a message to tell your boss."

"And what is it?"

"I'm the one leading this movement, I'm the guy that sent fighters to Sulkyton."

...

"Oh, and one more thing, tell him it's me, Master Frown, or as I should say...

"King Aller"

"Wha...Frown!?"

"Now go away before I make things worse, Fear!"

The two stood there processing on what happened until they ran away in the direction of the Capitol.
