𝐅𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐄 '𝐌' 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐄, Mary's face lit up when she saw the owner, Darren, come running up to the front of the store. He walked up to the girl with a big smile and then noticed the blonde Dugray boy in the corner, awkwardly looking through the Abba section. "You brought a friend?" Darren questioned the Miller girl and she nodded. She was always sweet to the old guy, she practically saw him as a Grandfather. "Wait..." He stepped closer to the girl, "Is that the friend?" He whispered, "Is that Tristan?"

"Shut up." She nudged the owner as she continued to flick through the vinyls. She saw Darren's smile widen and Tristan walked up to the two and put his hand out for Darren to shake. The owner crossed him arms and looked the boy up and down, causing Mary to hold her hand over her mouth to stop from laughing.

"Uh..." Tristan glared at Mary as she looked up at him, "Hello, Sir." Tristan put on a slightly posher voice than usual, making Mary let the stifled laugh escape her lips, "I'm- I'm Tristan...Dugray." He added and Darren nodded at the boy. "I'm Mary's friend, probably one of her bes-"

"I know who you are." Darren told the boy as he finally took his hand away from the man, getting the hint. "And..." the owner continued, "I am so happy to finally meet you." He brought the confused Dugray boy into a hug as he raised his eyebrows at Mary, "I've heard so much about you." Darren added and the Miller girl pulled her lips into a line.

"Really?" Tristan asked with an amused face as the two parted. Mary scrunched up her nose and tilted her head at the boy as he turned back to the older man. "Like what, may I ask?" The blonde boy questioned with his hands now in his pockets.

"Oooh, sorry." Darren put his hands up and winked at Mary, "Old man's honour. I can't tell anyone what Mary says." He shrugged at Tristan as he tilted his head back in frustration. "But, I will say, she seems very fond of you." He added and a smile that both Darren and Tristan recognised spread across her face. The one she'd have on when she spoke about Tristan with Darren or when she spoke about anything with the Dugray boy.

"She better be." He commented, putting his arm around her shoulder, "Because I am buying her a new vinyl." He told the old man and he raised his eyebrows in response as Mary rolled her eyes.

"My mother owns a worldwide bakery chain and my grandparents are rich. I can afford a vinyl." She told the boy but he had already snatched it out of her hand and taken it to the counter. She walked slowly after him with a more than happy expression as Darren raised his eyebrows at the girl. She narrowed her eyes at him and he quickly made his way to the till with a small chuckle.
