Size Doesn't Matter ( A Chouji x Reader Insert)

Hanging out with new Friends.

(Y/n) POV

"Well that took longer than it should have." I state as I watch Kiba walking away. It almost took a whole hour to figure out where everyone was for me to invite them over. So far the people that are coming over are: Chouji, Naruto, Shikamaru, Sakura, Ino, Kiba, Hinata, and surprisingly Sasuke. I offered to invite Neji, but he said 'I have better things to do instead of just hanging out with you.' Which was rather rude, but I choose to brush it off. I also invited Shino when i found him over buy a tree near the gate, in which he simply shook his head no. I didn't want to pester him so I decided to let him be. A quickly made my way to the store to buy different varieties of drinks and plastic utensils. I had to use my Light Clone Jutsu to help me carry some of the stuff back to my place. "So I think I should make some food for us all." I said to my clone as I sat the groceries down. I decided to just make bento boxes for everyone and just hope that it will appeal to them all. It doesn't take long for the sun to start going down and my food to be prepared. "Phew! Finally done." I say as I look over the eight bento boxes. The sound of the door being knocked on drew my attention to the door quickly. I already had all the snacks and drinks out and set up neatly for everyone to grab. 

I quickly made my way over to the door and opened it, only to be greeted by everyone already chatting away. "Hey everyone! I'm glad you could make it!" I said happily while gesturing for everyone to come inside.  As they all filed in through the door, I counted the amount of people that were coming through. "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven... Wait someone is missing." I state while everyone was busy looking around my house, except for Sasuke who happened to have found a spot on the couch to post up onto. I looked around outside and saw a figure attempting to hide behind a tree. "Um... Hinata is that you?" I question, only to earn a tiny squeak in response. 'Yeah that's her alright.' I thought to myself whilst making my way over to the shy girl. "What are you doing out here? Everyone's already inside." I ask as she begins to twiddle her fingers. "I just... Should I be allowed to go in?" She questioned. This causes me to tilt my head a bit at this before nodding. "Of course you can. I did invite you after all. Why wouldn't you?" I questioned, only for her to avert her gaze elsewhere. I gently gesture for her to head in, in which she reluctantly walked inside. After I closed the door, I went over and flipped on the TV to a random show while everyone was socializing. "Wow (Y/n) how did you get a place like this?" Kiba asked after dropping down onto a couch. "Someone named Yamato helped me out. However, I don't know who he is." I state as I head to the kitchen to grab the bentos. I came back balancing the 8 bentos in my arms. That's when I noticed that I made a mistake. "Hey everyone I made bentos for everybody however, I did not take in to account how I would hand them off with my hands full... Can you just grab some from the top?" I ask as I hear the rapid approach of feet and everyone getting their boxes. Luckily the last one to grab one was Chouji who's special bento box was at the bottom. "Wow what are the odds. I actually had a specific one for you at the bottom Chouji." I state with a smile while offering it to him. "Why did you make Chouji a special one?" Ino questioned with a smirk on her face. "I mean... I asked him is all..." I mumble as he took the bento box from me. "Thanks (Y/n)! Your cooking is amazing." He states, causing my face to heat up a bit. "You've had her cooking before?" Sakura questioned, only for him to nod quickly. "Yeah her food is something else." Naruto chimed in. "Wait even Naruto has had your food?" The pinkette added. "Yeah I've been having lunch with Naruto and Chouji since I've been here. Now that I think about it, they were the first to come to my house." I state as I recall the memory.

"Well now that you are all here what should we all do? I'm not use to really hosting guests." I ask sheepishly. "Why don't we play some hide and seek?" Kiba asked. "Sure, but you cant be the seeker." Shikamaru stated. "What? Why?" He questioned quickly. "You will literally sniff us out. Plus you have Akamaru with you." He answers, only causing Kiba to groan a bit. I guess he was really eager to be the seeker. "I can be it!" Naruto offers, causing everyone to look at him. "I don't see why not." Chouji follows up quickly whilst munching down on his bento box. "Sure Naruto can be it. Is there any off limits spots?" Sakura asked, causing me to think a bit. "I guess inside buildings should be off limits to make it a little more fair." I answer, earning a unanimous nod from everyone. "This probably will take a while if Naruto's the seeker. Would we need long to actually hide?" Sasuke asked whilst taking a jab at Naruto. "It will not! I'm sure I can find you all very easily!" Naruto argued back. "I'm sure Naruto is going to be fine. But I say we should have about a 1min and 30sec to hide?" I suggest. Everyone seemed to agree on that idea thankfully. I explained that when you are found to head back to my house. Anyone that hasn't been found in 10 minutes they can start making their way back to the house as the victors.  As soon as we all made our way outside everyone instantly scattered. After I made sure nobody was nearby, I used my light clone jutsu to send out 2 more clones. 'I never said you couldn't use Ninjutsu.' I thought while giggling. I bid farewell to my clones and began to look for a good hiding spot. I eventually decided to stop at one of the many parks in the village. It was basically a large tube maze place. "Technically, this isn't a building it's a park." I state out loud as I quickly hop into the entrance of the tube.

I crawled around the corner of the tube maze and bumped into something soft. "Ouch! What the-" I stop myself as I look up to see what I ran into. It was in fact Chouji who seemed to have had the same idea as me. "Technically this isn't a building!" He quickly defended as if I was about to accuse him of cheating, causing me to giggle. "I mean, you're not wrong so no need to defend yourself. Besides I'm hiding here to." I state as I post up next to him. We sit in silence for a while before I decide to start a conversation. "So do you think he'll find us here?" I whisper earning a shake of his head. "Naruto wouldn't think this place would be a hiding spot." He states quietly. It was cold outside but Chouji was giving off heat like a mini heater. "I sent out shadow clones in case he were to find me." I say causing him to slowly look over to me with a raised brow. "What? I didn't say you couldn't use a Ninjutsu." I state in defense. "I didn't even think about that. That's pretty smart." He complimented. I'm glad it was already dark already so hopefully he couldn't see my face heat up. After what seemed like 10 minutes, me and Chouji made our ways back to my house. When we walked through Naruto instantly pointed a finger at me. "You didn't say we could use Ninjutsu!" He stated, causing me to laugh. I assume he ran into my 2 other copies. "I mean, did I say we couldn't?" I ask causing him to groan. "Where did you two even hide?" He asked, causing Chouji to answer. "In the tube maze nearby" He says causing Sakura to speak up. "See I told you we should have hid over there!" She shouted towards Ino who only let out a huff in response. "But isn't that a building?" Naruto questioned. "Technically it's not. It's a park still." Shikamaru said. "Anyways why don't we play truth or dare?" Ino suggested. 'Oh no. I've heard stories about this game and how it can easily get out of hand!' I thought to myself as I notice everyone agreeing. 

I eventually gave in and sat down in between Naruto and Chouji, Ino and Sakura basically sandwiched Sasuke, and Kiba, Shikamaru, and Hinata were sitting on the third couch. "Oh! Oh! I'll go first!" Sakura offered. "(Y/n) Truth or dare?" She asked. "Right off the bat huh? I'll go with Truth." I state as I lean back into the chair. "Okay! What was it like in Hikarigakure?" She asked. "Oh that's easy. Hikarigakure is a quiet and peaceful village. Instead of a Hokage, we have a leader that's titled the Taiyo. They also protects and oversees the village. So basically like a Hokage in a way." I answer earning a 'ooh's. "My turn I guess. Ino truth or dare." I ask. "Dare!" She responds. I sat there and thought for a moment before speaking up. "I dare you to eat one serving of Sashimi." I state. I didn't really know what else to dare, but then I noticed her expression. Completely grossed out. "Sashimi? Gross!" She says, earning a couple of laughs from the group. "I'll do it." She grumbles, prompting me to stand up and go grab a sliced piece of salmon and add it to some rice that I had left. I brought it on a small plate with a small saucer of soy sauce on the side. "Sashimi is served!" I say with a smile as she stares down at the plate as I hand it to her. "Did you know that I hate Sashimi or something?" Ino asked, causing me to shake my head. "It was purely by chance. I love Sashimi." I say while sitting back down. She eventually picked up the food with chopsticks and quickly at it before cringing. "Did you even chew?" Kiba asked whilst laughing. After about 30 minutes everyone had their fair share of stuff that happened. I had to sing a duet with a light clone of mine, which was easy. Kiba had to have Akamaru ride his back like a horse using his Beast Human Clone Jutsu which looked very strange. Chouji ate a spoonful of wasabi. Sasuke had to preform 3 consecutive back flips, which he did with ease. Sakura had to navigate from the kitchen back to the couch with a blindfold on after being spun around 10 times. Shikamaru had to do shadow puppets with his Shadow Manipulation. Lastly Hinata had to sit next to Naruto a whole 30 seconds, in which he was confused on how that was a hard dare, but we could see her about to overheat.

Eventually, everyone had to head home since we all had to go to the academy tomorrow. "Alright everyone I'm glad you enjoyed your time here! Feel free to visit whenever you want." I state with a gentle smile on my face. They all bid farewell to me before going their different paths. After I closed the door I went over to the couch and collapsed onto it. "Hanging out with friends is really fun." I said out loud to myself. They helped me clean up before leaving so I didn't have to do it a lone, in which I greatly appreciated. I can't wait to spend more time with everyone. It was so much fun! If this is what it's like having a bunch of friends, then I want to make more so we can create memories together. I think I'm going to start studying up on that scroll that my dad gave me before I left. Maybe I'll figure out more about Raitoraion in there too. My necklace was glowing before I woke up from that dream so maybe it was more than just a dream... Well no use lingering on that it's time for me to get ready for bed!
