Size Doesn't Matter ( A Chouji x Reader Insert)

░T░h░e░ ░d░r░e░a░m░

I found myself laying down on a floor that seemed to be endless and  water covering the surface of it. I quickly scan my surroundings, only to find darkness. I was starting to become nervous till I heard a loud growl behind me. I slowly turned around and noticed a rather large cage behind me, behind it sat a giant white lion with saber  tooth-like fangs. Adorning its fur were many black stripes. It's golden eyes were piercing through me with an intense gaze.

"A child? What brings you here?" The giant lion asks  in a rather gruff  tone as it stoops its head down closer, as if to get a better look at me. "W-Wait a second where am I? I was ju-just in my room asleep!" I say in fear as I back away from the cage quickly. Only for another growl to creep its way through his throat. "You must be the one in possession of the necklace from that woman aren't you?" He asked while approaching the edge of the cage. I stopped backing away before noticing what he said. "Wait... do you mean the necklace my mother gave me with a yellow gem inside of it?" I asked getting a little closer to the lion. It nodded aggressively as it began to snarl a bit. "I was sealed in that damned necklace for  centuries! And now I've been handed down to some child!?" He roars in rage as a claw suddenly reaches out from the gate, making me scream and fall onto my back. The claw only was a few feet away from me as I scurried back from it. "I-I'm sorry I have no idea what you are talking about! This has to be some dream, some crazy dream!"  I kept repeating to myself, but for some reason it didn't feel like a dream completely. It's like a part of me knew that this wasn't a dream, but I don't know where this feeling is coming from. "You didn't come here on purpose did you?"  He growled again before visually relaxing a bit. I shook my head quickly, only to earn a groan and for him to lay down comfortably on the ground and closing his eyes. " I really am sorry Mr. Lion, but I really don't know what's going on..." I explain as calmly as possible, trying not to upset him. " M-My name is (Y/n), (Y/n) (L/n) by the way... What's yours?"  I asked politely as I sat a safe distance away from the beast. One of his eyes cracked open with a raised brow. "...My name is Raitoraion..." He said before closing his eyes. I smile bit before offering out my hand as if to shake his. "Well it's nice to meet you Raitoraion!" I say in a cheerful voice, earning a confused noise from the lion. A claw was extended just enough for me to shake it before let  out a deep chuckle. "You are certainly an interesting child..." He says before laying his head back down. I sudden darkness envelopes me, pulling me away quickly from Raitoraion.

 I quickly jolted up from my sleep with a gasp and look around my room quickly. I saw my necklace was glowing brightly for a moment before quickly fading back to its usual golden glow. 
"That... was a strange dream..." I said out loud to myself before hoping off my bed to do my usual morning routine. After grabbing the lunches I prepared, I set off to the Academy as fast as possible. Today I had to try and make friends with more people so I can invite them over to hang out today! As I rushed through the village I felt myself getting more and more excited 'I hope that everyone is gonna like me' I thought as I made my way through a few more people. After a few minutes I had finally arrived. "Hey (Y/n)  you're here early." I heard someone nearby  say as I approached the door. I looked down and saw Shikamaru leaning against the wall next to the open doors of the Academy. "Oh good morning Shikamaru! I was actually looking for you." I say as I approach him. He raises a brow for a second with a look of confusion gracing his face. "What could you possibly need me for? It's not work is it? That would be a drag." He says while scratching the back of his head. "Not at all actually, I wanted to know if you wanted to come and hang out at my place after we get done here." I explain with a smile on my face. He fell silent for a bit before letting out a sigh. "I guess I don't have anything better to do." He answers with a small smile. "Awesome! I'm going to go and see if I can get anyone else to come. Do you think Ino would?" I asked while tilting my head a bit. He seemed to be thinking a bit before nodding. "I'm sure that she would go, especially if you got Sauske to go." He says whilst pushing himself off the wall with little effort. "Hey I meant to ask, what's with the boxed lunch?" He asked while looking down at the lunch boxes in my hand. "Oh I brought lunch for Naruto, Chouji, and myself." I explained as I scan the area to see if I could find the spikey haired blonde and plump light brunette. The first thing I see was Naruto sitting on a swing under a tree in the distance. His wore a sad expression on his face, causing a tinge of pain to hit my heart. "Hey Shikamaru, I'm going to go check on him I'll be in shortly." I say as I quickly make my way over to the blonde before Shikamaru could even give off a response. Naruto's head perked up at the sound of my footsteps approaching him. "Good morning Naruto! How's your day going?" I asked as I set the food aside and squatted down in front of him. "It's... It's going I guess." He says a small smile starting to form on his face. "Well I'm sure it'll get better, especially after tonight!" I cheer trying to raise his mood. A smile soon bloomed on his face as he begins to laugh a bit. "Yeah, you're right so... should I bring anything?" He asked while tilting his head a bit. My face instantly deadpanned as I looked him straight in the eyes. "Yes there is one thing that you must bring." I in a serious tone, causing him to flinch back  a bit from the sudden shift in my mood. "W-What is that?" He stutters out, which almost makes me break my act. "This is a very crucial thing to bring and you already have it, but I need you to remember to bring it. Okay?" I asked while gesturing with my hands to emphasize how important this 'object' was. "I already have it?" He questioned as he began to search his pockets. At that point I began to laugh, which causes him to jump from the sudden noise. "You just need to bring yourself that's all." I say in between laughs, causing him to join in on the laughing. "You really had me worried for a second." He said while wiping a tear from his eye. "Yeah don't worry about bringing anything. If you want to that's up to you. I wouldn't want to force you to do something you don't wanna do. Ya know?" I ask while standing back up and grabbing the lunches. "Anyways I think class is about to start. Let's head inside yeah?" I ask while offering my hand to him. He nods and takes my hand to pull himself up off the swing.
