(Y/n) POV
My eyes shimmered with amazement as we approached the large gates of the Leaf Village. There were so many people out and about doing their own thing. The first thing I noticed were the fact there were some other kids running around and playing. Back in my village, there weren't a lot of kids playing around outside. We proceeded further into the village and the farther we go in, the more people began to appear and the busier things seemed to be. I see a yummy looking ramen shop on my way to what I assume is where the Hokage of this village stays. The building was HUGE! The building was stripped with red and orange and at the top there was a symbol for what I assumed would be for fire. "Woah the Hokage stays in this large building?" I ask with curiosity laced in my tone. "It sure is. Lord Hokage actually wants to meet with you since you will be staying in the village." One of the Shinobi explain as we approached a large door. My eyes widen as i realized I'm about to meet the strongest Shinobi in the village. It seems my reaction was noted by one of the Shinobi who turned around and took a knee in front of me. "Dont worry. Lord Hokage is a nice man." He explained with a smile on his face. This managed to calm me down a bit. I nodded slightly before following behind the men and head up a flight of stairs. After a while of walking, we made it to what I assume to be the Hokage's office. He was seated behind a desk with a lot of papers stacked on it and books on the floor next to said desk. There were large openings aligning against the back of the room, allowing a nice soft breeze to flow through. "Lord Hokage we have returned with (Y/n)(L/n) of the Hikarigakure!" Both Shinobi suddenly shouted, causing me to jump a bit. 'I guess I'm still a bit on edge...' I thought glumly before noticing the Hokage had put the stamper in his hand. "Thank you, you're Dismissed." He briefly said. Sure enough as I looked to see the two Shinobi, they were gone. 'Woah that was fast...' I thought in shock as the room is now filled with a little bit of tension. "So (Y/n)..." The Hokage started. I could feel my palms getting sweaty and I felt my toes twitching from the nervousness that returned quickly. "How are you liking the Village?" He suddenly asks with a happier tone compared to the low tone he was previously. I approached slowly before answering the best I could. "L-Lord Hokage the village is very beautiful and lively. Back in my village, we didn't really have so many people out and about so it was a little o-overwhelming." I explain as I began to calm down. The mood in the room began to lighten up as we talked. He wanted to assure that no harm would come to me and that he hopes I enjoy my stay and grow up to become a strong ninja. "Well (Y/n) I will let you make your way to where you will be staying. Don't worry we have an instructor from the Academy that will be escorting you to the house and showing you around." He explained as he picked back up his stamper. "I understand, thank you Lord Hokage!" I say with a happy tone. He seemed like he was about to dismiss me before he stopped me. I turn around a little confused from the sudden halting. "What's that scroll on your back (Y/n)? It looks similar to something we have..." He explained seeming concerned for a moment. "Oh this?" I say pointing at the scroll. " My dad gave it to me so that I could learn stuff from my village since I will be out here." I explain with a happy grin. The Hokage seemed to be in thought before nodding. "(Y/n) don't let anybody know that you have that here okay? There are some people out there that would want to steal that from you and use it for bad things. Do you understand?" He asked with a serious look on his face. "Yes I understand!" I say with confidence in my tone. He let out a chuckle before waving me off. I walked down the stairs and out the large door, only to be greeted with a man who was wearing the same outfit that the previous Shinobi were wearing. He smiled at me before looking down at a piece of paper. "You are (Y/n) (L/n) right?" He asked looking back at me. I nod quickly before he offered his hand out to me. "Well welcome to the Leaf Village (Y/n)! My name is Iruka Umino and I'll be showing you around the village." He explained. I took his hand and shook it while returning the smile with a smile of my own. "Thank you Mr. Iruka! I appreciate this." I say before releasing his hand. "Alright first stop is the place you will be staying. I'm sure that lugging that stuff around on your back is tiresome." He said while chuckling. I didn't notice it but my shoulders were getting soar from the weight on my back. I nod and began to follow Mr. Iruka through the village. As we walk he points out different establishments from the ramen shop, in which was called Ichiraku Ramen Shop. Soon enough we arrived at a small house with a few bushes in the front of it.
