walking down the sidewalk as we came up onto a huge building with a sign.

"hotel of death?" clary questioned.

"cant say they don't have a sense of humor." jace replied.

"come on." isabelle said as she pulled off the lock of the door, opening it slowly and as quietly as she could.

i walked in behind clary and isabelle. jace and alec behind me.

"listen to me, the both of you need to stay behind jace, my brother, and i. i know that you guys can hold your own, but just trust me. these vampires are incredibly dangerous. they're quiet and fast. they could snatch you up real quick if you're not careful." isabelle whispered to clary and i.

"got it." i whispered back to her.

jace walked up behind me as he stood next to me, looking down at me, "it's gonna be ok." he said reassuring me. i grinned softly and nodded my head.

he pulled out a flash flight as he turned it on, slowing walking in front of everyone else. everyone following slowly behind him.

the place was completely recked and destroyed as water was flowing down from holes in the ceiling.

we walked into what must've been the main lobby.

isabelle quickly walked over to a set of stairs, clary and i following behind her.

i stopped mid walking on the stairs as i looked down, there was a trace of blood going up the stairs. simons shirt laid down on the step as it was ripped and covered in dirt.

jace stood next to me, he placed a hand on my lower back, "it's ok, julia." he whispered as he then walked ahead of me.

we walked down a hallway as alec stopped and placed a magic rock that was glowing on the ground. clary grabbed onto my hand as she was obviously afraid. i held her hand and gulped quietly. this place was extremely quiet and destroyed.

there was a faint grunt that came not to far from us.

jace walked over to a hole in the wall as he looked up, "he's up here."

clary and i ran over to the hole as we both looked up, "oh my god, simon." she spoke as she hurried her way to get to him. "clary wait!" i whisper yelled to her. then i started to run after her, my boots making a lot of noise due to the heels on them.

simon was literally hanging in the air as he was tied up to what seemed like a very large bell at the very top.

clary rushed over to him but i quickly stopped her as there was a giant hole she was about to fall into.

"here," jace said as he ran over and brought us a long board, placing it down.

clary took her shoes off as she slowly started to walk the board. "please be careful." i told her as he balanced herself, slowing creeping her way closer to him.

she finally got to him as she took a deep breath and started to untie him.

jace walked onto the board as he also helped untie simon. he put one of simons arms around his shoulders as he dragged him over to us, clary behind them.

"let's go!" isabelle said as we all started to run to the exist, but was quickly stopped as hundreds of vampires stood in front of us. "shit!"

we turned around but they were behind us also.

"this way!" alec yelled as we all ran and followed him into a ballroom. we ran to the other side as alec tried to open the door, "it's not budging!"

"guys.. we got company." clary said as everyone turned around, we were now surrounded by hundreds of vampires ready to eat all of us.
