Part Twelve

That boy is Jackson! I found this dude and like woah he looks exactly how I described him! Well any how back to za story!

Once again Jalex, or Jex as Jackson called her for an unknown reason, took my hand and dragged me over to the room from this morning.

This time tho, we walked farther into the room. At the very back was nothing but a wall, but then Randy went over and began tapping on it.

After a few other taps, he grinned at the final one, which was more hollow that the rest. His fingers went to the bottom and he pried open the wall which had (duh) been a door.

I was amazed cuz normally this only happened in movies and stuff. Jalex looked at me and smiled.

"They found this hidden door about a year ago. Stupid ass Randy fell against the wall and he heard the hollowness of it."

I grinned and walked in. "Does anyone else know about this?" I asked.

Randy shook his head. "Nope. Well Brandon used to/ knows. After he left us he told the hospital but they couldn't find the entrance and Brandon couldn't either."

I smiled and went into the room. The walls were out of bricks so the room was cool during the summer and warm during the winter.

The room was about the size of a classroom, with no window but a huge painting of black roses. There where two black leather couches and a glass table in between.

A wooden table was to the side and a black closet was on a corner. I opened it revealing three black and white blankets. I looked at Jalex and raised and eyebrow.

"What're the blankets for?" I asked. "Well duh sometimes we get cold." Jalex replied.

I shrugged and sat on a couch. "So... Do we ever leave this place?" I asked, referring to the hospital.

"Yeah like once or twice a month. Our next trip is gonna be in like... I don't know. Its gonna be this weekend right?" Jalex asked Lie.

Lie nodded. "Yeah it's gonna be in three days. The hospital lets us go out with a fucking GPS attached to us for about five hours. They give each person $100 for food and shopping and whatever."

I nodded. "Nice. So if there's five of us that makes... $500?" Jackson nodded. "Yup. Or if you're making good progress they give you $50 or more extra."

"Wow..." I sighed. Jalex chuckled and sat next to me. I brought the guts to ask what had been bothering me all morning:

"So um... Who's Gigi?" The moment I asked I regretted my own existence. Jalex's face paled and she began fidgeting with her blue hair.

"Um... Look I gotta go. Ms. Herr wanted me to go to her office the other day." With that, Jalex stood up and left the secret room.

I looked down, ashamed. Jackson sat next to me. "Don't worry. See, Gigi was a girl who used to be here." I frowned.

"She left the hospital? That's good right?" I asked. Randy shook his head.

"Not the way she left it. Gigi and Jalex were really close. At one point they began dating, like two weeks after Jalex came into the hospital. The thing was, no one even knew why Gigi came into the hospital, and now the we think of it we don't know why Jalex came in either... but the real reason why Jalex can't leave now is because of her trauma."
