Two-Bit had just got done making popcorn for the night. Steve and Soda had bought drinks and sat there. "What are y'all doing?" Ponyboy asks, tilting his head to the 3 gang members. "Watching a movie! A scary one!" Two-Bit starts, "Wanna join?" He asks.
Pony thinks for a moment then answers, "sure." He replies after a short amount of time. He sits on the couch in-between Steve and Soda. Two-Bit starts the movie.
Two-Bit puts on The Ring movie (I'm aware that it wasn't out at this time!).
After the movie was done, Soda cleaned up the mess Two-Bit and Steve made. Two-Bit snuck up behind Pony, "Gotcha!" He laughs. Ponyboy screams. "Two-Bit Keith Matthews!" Sodapop yells. "Uh oh." Two-Bit laughs nervously as Soda gives him a death glare. "I knew I shouldn't have let Pony watch that movie. Darry's gonna kill me." Soda murmurs.
"I'm home-" Darry started but couldn't finish because Pony ran into his arms. "Pony? Ponyboy, what's wrong?"
"Scary movie." Pony's voice is shaky. Darry looks at the other 3 boys in the room. "Darry, I can explain." Soda starts. "Then better get to it." Darry says.
"Two-Bit thought It'd be cool for Pony to watch The Ring movie with us." Soda rats out Two-Bit. "Two-Bit." Darry starts, "did you think that it was okay to let my little brother watch a scary movie?" He asks. "I thought it'd be fine." Two-Bit says.
"I thought he was old enough to not get scared." He admits. "You make me madder than the devil." Darry leads Pony into the kitchen. "I'll be going." Steve walks out. "I'll go too." Two-Bit says and quickly runs out, hoping to get away before Soda or Darry could make him do something for them.
"Pony, it's okay. That girls not real." Soda tries to sooth and show reassurance. "I know but it's still scary." Pony wipes his eyes and yawns. "Come on, let's go to bed." Soda says and grabs Pony's hand. He leads his tired little brother to their room and lays him down. "Sleep well." Soda says and turns the lighst off.
"Goodnight, kiddos." Darry calls. "Night, Dar." Soda calls back, falling asleep not to far behind his little brother.
