"Sit there. No, there you fucking dumbass." Finney says, pointing at the spot. "Of course you want to sit all the way in the back." Billy says, sitting down.

"I hate this stupid assembly. They do it every year to welcome everyone back. Literally no one cares about it." Finney says, sitting down beside Billy with a sigh.

"I agree." A voice says beside Finney. Finney flinches, quickly turning to look at the person beside him.

"Shit! I didn't even see you." Finney says, running a hand through his hair. "Yeah, used to that." The boy says.

"I'm Griffin, sorry for spooking you." Griffin says, grinning at Finney. "Finney." Finney says, nodding at him.

"Everyone quiet down!" The principle calls throughout the gym. Finney rolls his eyes, slumping against the wall.

5 minutes into the assembly, something gets thrown at Finney. Finney grabs the eraser that was thrown at him, looking in the direction it came from.

He makes eye contact with Robin, immediately frowning. Robin winks at him, before turning around, laughing with his friends.

Finney grips the eraser, staring holes into the back of Robins head. "Finney, don't do it." Billy says, hitting the back of Finneys head.

"I'm gonna fucking do it Billy." Finney says, glaring at Billy. "Do it. He's an asshole." Griffin says, shrugging.

Finney smirks at Griffin, "See Billy? Griffin understands." He says, nudging Billy's shoulder. Billy just puts his hands up in surrender, "I warned you." He says.

Finney scoffs, aiming the eraser and throwing it. He quickly muffles his laugh with his hand as he watches the eraser bounce off of the back of Robins head.

Robin immediately looks back, holding a hand over the spot where the eraser hit. He mouths something to Finney, but Finney doesn't catch what he says.

Griffin and Billy look at eachother, immediately bursting out laughing. The students around them all turn to stare at the trio, making the 2 shut up immediately.

When everyone looks away, the three give each other mischievous looks.

"Bruce said he met someone at college, thinks he might be the one." Finney says, using air quotations with his fingers.

Billy snorts from beside him, "He says that about every cute guy he talks to for more then a minute." He says, grabbing a sprite from the store fridge.

"He says this one is different." Finney says, grabbing a bag of hot cheetos off of the shelf. Billy just hums, shaking his head. They purchase their stuff and walk out of the gas station.

"It seems so boring here without Bruce. No offense Finney, still love you." Billy says, grinning at Finney.

Finney rolls his eyes, "Yeah, I have to deal with your annoying ass by myself now." He says, shoving a cheeto in his mouth.

"Holy shit, look who it is Finney boy." Billy says, motion to his head across the street. "Great, my bestfriend." Finney says, rolling his eyes.

Robin is leaning against the brick wall of the clothing store, talking to his 2 friends. Robin looks up towards Finney, shooting him a glare.

Finney sends one back, flipping him off. Robin returns the favor, before turning his attention back to his friends.

"Awww, that was so cute of y'all!" Billy says, making puppy dog eyes at Finney. Finney groans, shoving Billy's face away with his hand.

"It would be so funny if both of you ended up going to the same college." Billy says, biting into his snickers bar. "Don't fucking jinx it Billy." Finney says, glaring at Billy.
