(No one's POV)
*But first, a little recap*
After Lorelai slammed the phone down. She looked at the phone, shocked. She couldn't believe that that just happened. Then she immediately picked up the phone and phoned Rory, they had to talk now.
*Back to the story*
"Ring. Ring", Lorelai is trying to call Rory, she just talked to Christopher, and Christopher just blamed her for not being able to walk Rory down the aisle and she wanted to know what happened when Rory talked to him.
After a little bit, Rory finally answered.
"Hi, Mom", She answered.
"Hi. Listen Rory. Dad's just called me, what happened between you two on the phone"?, Lorelai questioned her. She wanted to know what in the world happened.
Rory sighed and said, "I tried Mom. I really did. I called him, seven times, but it felt like seventy. So, I asked Luke to walk me down the aisle. But, then Dad finally called me back and said that he could not be there anyway because he was going out of town for a business trip. Then I got mad and said that I had asked Luke to do it anyway and that he was too late".
Lorelai sighed, "Well, he called me and blamed me for making you pick Luke to walk you down the aisle".
"Wait!? He called you"? Rory asked her, shocked.
"Yes, he did", Lorelai said.
Lorelai was mad. She couldn't believe that Christopher would do that, but she wasn't that surprised. He always turned it against her, to make it seem like its her fault, but it would be his, of not being there.
"I'm sorry, Mom that he called you", she said.
"Don't be sorry, Rory", Lorelai said. "Well, I have to go. I'm late for work".
"Okay, Mom. Talk to you later", Rory said.
Both, Lorelai and Rory hung up the phone. Both of them were very quite upset, not with each other, but with Christopher. Neither one of them know if they would ever forgive Christopher after this. Since this wasn't the first time that he blamed them for his own actions.
