"Logan & Rory" (If Rory had said 'yes')

~Boundaries~

Shira and Emily both just stare at Rory and Logan. They were both started at what then were saying. In their mind they weren't trying to take over, they were just trying to help them. They, however, didn't want to start a conflict of their granddaughter (Emily) and their son (Shira), so they decided that they were going to hear what they were going to stay to them, what were the boundaries?

"Okay, what are the boundaries"?, Emily and Shira demanded.

Rory and Logan looked at one another. First of all they were surprised that both of them, meaning both Emily and Shira were acting so calmly to this news. Rory and Logan didn't expect that they would so be calm about this.

Rory and Logan continued to talk at each other, in silence. Since they had expected a different reaction. They also never expected them to be so open-minded about them putting boundaries on their (Emily and Shira's) planning of their wedding, that they never really thought through about they didn't think about kinds of boundaries that they were going to set on bot of Emily and Shira. Actually they didn't even think they might have to tell them what the boundaries were, because they didn't like that they would have a chance to even to say them to Emily and Shira. The reason that they were so quiet was that they never really talked about what boundaries they should set, since they didn't know that Emily and Shira was going to react so calmly has they did.

Emily and Shira continued to stare at both of them, in silence. They still were waiting for them to talk. So, quickly they just decided with their brain energy, looking at each other, decided what they should be.

"Well Grandma, Shira", Rory started. "We thought that we would do the wedding registry".

"The wedding registry"!, Emily and Shira exclaimed.

Rory was startled at their reaction to what portion of their wedding that was the part that they wanted to do, well one of the things, which was the most important thing that a to-be married couple to do together.

"Yes, Grandma, we are going to do our wedding registry. Why is that a problem"?, Rory said. She wanted to know why Emily and Shira reacted in that way, just because they wanted to do the wedding gift registry.

"Come on, you guys just got out of college, your both so young. Young enough not to know how or what so put the right things on a wedding registry, and the correct things". Emily said, trying to reason with the, and Shira nodded her head in agreement.

Emily and Shira just sat there, waiting for Rory and Logan to say something to them. However, Rory and Logan just stared, and glaring at them, Rory said, "Oh, is that so? we didn't know, it's important and personal thing, but we need to do it ourselves. We hope that you respect our wishes", Rory said, and Logan agreed with her.

Before Rory and Logan were at a loss while Emily and Shira had the upper hand, but they blew it, and now Rory and Logan has the upper hand, and they were going to use it.

Emily and Shira were not particular happy about that but they wanted to avoid conflict with them, especially since it was so early in the process of wedding planning, so they reluctantly agreed that I would do the gift registry.

"Also, any decisions have to be okayed by us. Our decision on all decisions are final".

As soon as both Emily and Shira agreed to their terms, they left their apartment and went back to their own houses.
