Halloween meltdown

Henry's POV (he's 16)

I'm going trick or treating with Charlotte and Jasper again this year. Or at least that's what I told my parents. We haven't actually decided if we wanted to actually go or just chill in the man cave. Until I became forced to go.

"Henry can you take Piper and her friends trick or treating this year? My and you father want to stay here this time and have a few hours to ourselves." My mom asked. She knew I was going to say yes.

"Uh yeah, sure mom. How many kids is she going with though?" I asked, now knowing I couldn't go to the man cave because she doesn't know yet. Ray said that he would think about letting me tell Piper, because it is really hard to lie to Piper.

"I'm pretty sure 4 or 5 kids. Just ask her." My mom said, then left, saying she needed to go do something downtown.

"Piper! Come downstairs! I made lunch!" I yelled, and hoped she would actually come.

"Hey Hen. I heard you are taking me and my friends this year." Piper said, eating the grilled cheese I made her.

I nodded, texting Jasper and Charlotte about it.

H-Guys
C-What's up Hen?
J-?
H- I have to take Piper and her friends trick or treating this year.
J-dang. I kinda wanted to chill in the man cave
H- you know you can if you want. You don't have to come.
J- I'd feel bad
C- I'll still go with you hen. Ttyl my mom needs me.
H- bye Char
J-cya
J- I'll probably go with y'all then because Char is.
H- sounds good

"How many people do I have to watch anyway?" I asked Piper.

"Me and 4 people. So 5 people total."

"Cool."

*Time skip to Halloween night*

¡Ding dong!

"Henry can you get it?" My mother asked.

"Yeah sure." I said, opening the door and putting my shirt on.

"Hey Henry." The girls all said in unison.

"Hey. We can leave once you all are ready and once my friends get here." I said.

"Okay, sounds good." One of them said.

A few minutes later, the doorbell rings again, and this time it's Jasper and Charlotte.

"You two ready to go?" I asked, grabbing bags from the kitchen.

"Yeah." They replied.

"Girls! Let's get going!" I yelled from the bottom of the stairs.

"Coming!" I heard Piper yell back.

*A few hours later*

We have been trick or treating for a few hours, and the girls decided they were ready to go back home. They decided to have a sleepover, and obviously, I have to watch them.

"Hen can you carry our candy?" Piper asked, holding out her bag.

"Yeah." I said, sighing, but chuckling, and taking their bags.

"Hey Hen, I think I'm gonna hang out at work and help out there. If you don't mind, that is." Charlotte said.

"No problem. Have fun." I said, smiling.

*Lol another time skip*

Piper and her friends are watching a movie, Charlotte and Jasper are at Junk and Stuff, and I'm making popcorn and chili balls.

"Henry! We changed our minds. We're going to go hang out in my room. Can you just bring up some popcorn when you're done?" Piper asked. I nodded, and went to finish making the popcorn. "Thanks! Love you!" She exclaimed, then ran upstairs.

A few minutes later, I poured the popcorn into a different bowl, and a I put some candy into a few other bowls, then brought it upstairs.

"Here. I gotta go grab something from the gas station. Don't go outside, Kay?" I said, putting the bowls on the floor.

They nodded, and I went down to the gas station.

No one was there, I didn't even see any one behind the counter, so I just gave up and went back home.

*Time skip again😜*

"Open the door!" I heard probably about half an hour after I got back from the gas station. There was a bunch of banging and yelling.

Unlucky for me, Piper and her friends were refilling snacks when it happened.

"Please! Please I'm begging you open the door!" Again, with more banging.

"Henry what is that?" Piper asked, her voice shaky.

"Only one way to find out." I said, trying to hide the fear in my voice.

I opened the door, and Charlotte fell to the floor.

"Char?" I questioned, helping her up.

"Henry!" Charlotte exclaimed once she caught her breath. "I was coming here to hang out with you because I got bored at work, and when I started walking over here, and some... Thing! started chasing me!" She explained.

"We'll you're here now. Let's just chill here."

"Yeah. Good idea." Charlotte said, and we all ended up falling asleep laying with eachother on the floor.

I know I haven't posted in a while but I really haven't had much of any ideas. So if you have any, I would love to hear them, I will give you credit it you give me an idea I use.
