Charlotte's POV (16years old)

Winter has just begun. Not technically, but it's snowing, so it's close enough. At least that's what Henry and Jasper say.

Jasper is on holiday with his family, so he doesn't know that it's snowing here yet. And Henry is probably sleeping, because it's 7 in the morning. Usually I wake him up by calling him.

Just like usual, I call him. We call every morning, to talk and make plans for that day. It's kind of tradition by now, because we have been doing it since we have had phones.

On the first ring, no response. The second, still no response. Usually he answers on the second. Third ring, nothing. It was on the fourth ring that he finally answered.

"Piper! Come on! We're going to be late!" I heard Henry yell.

"Late for what?" I asked, now curious.

"Sorry Char. Uh hi. I'm watching Piper again today. Mom and dad want us to meet them at this place. I don't remember what it is, but they texted me how to get there. Piper's just taking forever as usual." Henry exclaimed, then yelled again. "I don't care about your clothes! I swear Piper we are going to be late!"

"Was this a bad time to call?" I asked.

"Nah. I mean this is when we normally call. It's not a big deal. Anything going on with you?" Henry asked.

"Nope. Probably going to make snowmen with the kids at the daycare down the street." I answered.

"Have fun! Sorry can we talk later? I have to go tell at Piper for taking forever." Henry complained.

"Yeah, just make sure you call me later. Bye Hen."

"Bye Char."

Henry's POV (16years old)

I get off the phone with Charlotte, and go upstairs. I grab my book from my nightstand, not very important but I might do some homework while we are hanging with mom and dad, then go to Piper's room.

"What's taking you?" I ask, watching her run back and forth across her room.

"I can't find my phone!" She exclaimed.

"I think I saw it downstairs, actually." I responded.

"Okay then. Once I grab it I'll be ready. I'll meet you downstairs, don't snoop through my stuff." Piper said calmly, then walked past me, who was standing in the doorway, and walked downstairs.

I walked into her room, and went towards her bookcase. There were a bunch of books on it, and some other stuff that had nothing to do with books.

On the bookcase, I found exactly what I was looking for. A small, black box. Inside, a beautiful necklace, made of a thin, silver chain with a small crescent pendant on it, which was dark blue with streaks of white.

I quickly put the box carefully in my backpack and walked downstairs.

"Ready to go?" I questioned.

"Yup. Where are we going anyways? I was going to invite my friends over."

"It's a surprise." Is all I said, and with that, I pulled her by her wrist out the door.

Piper's POV

My birthday's today. I turn 14 today. I was going to invite some friends over and we were going to go out and whatever, but then this morning Henry told me that we were going somewhere.

I got ready, lost my phone, found my phone, lost my phone again, might have yelled at Henry, not sure, and then Henry found my phone. Or he told me where it was. Same thing.

"You are acting like a child." I commented at him pulling my by my wrist, my slightly smiled anyway.

"Oh whatever."  He said, and I could tell he rolled his eyes at me.

*Time skip*

"Calm down, calm down!" I exclaimed, as Henry was practically jumping next to me.

"Close your eyes!" He said, probably too loudly, but I did, an then felt hands cover my eyes. Then they left my eyes.

"Henry?" I questioned.

"I changed my mind, follow me." He said, pulling my wrist.

"Don't let me run into any-" I said, then ran into a pole. At least I think it was a pole.

"Sorry! Anyways we're here! Open your eyes!" I opened my eyes, and I was shocked. It was beautiful.

Honestly, I'm not so sure what it was, but it was pretty.

"This is beautiful, Henry." I said, smiling.

"We made it for you." He said proudly.

"Who?" I asked.

"Turn around." I heard someone behind me say.

"Charlotte? Jasper?" I questioned.

"We didn't help make it. At least not a lot of it. Most of it was Henry. Gue-" Jasper said, rambling, until Charlotte jabbed him in the side. "Ow!" I heard him then sat under his breath.

"What Jasper is trying to say, is that we aren't the people Henry is talking about." Charlotte said, then moved to the side pulling Jasper by his shirt collar.

"Aunt Carol!? Aunt Dianna!?" I exclaimed.

Henry's POV

Honestly, once Aunt Carol got here, I left. She's really careful about things. And I needed some alone time. Mom and Dad were working on getting tickets so Piper could have some one on one time with mom and dad.

"You okay man?" Jasper asked, running up behind me.

"Yeah, fine." I replied.

"You don't want to hang with your sister before she leaves?"

"The cruise doesn't leave today, Jasper. They have to get the tickets ahead of time. It leaves next week."

*Lolz more time skip*

Aunt Carol found me anyways. She knows me probably more than I know myself.

"Hey Aunt Carol." I said. I was sitting in the tree by the park.

"Hey Henry. What's going on?" She asked, climbing the tree.

"It's not fair. Piper gets so much more that me. When I turned 14 I got a bike. And the bike was from a garage sale."

"I know. I tried changing your parents mind, but they just would not listen." Aunt Carol said.

"Yeah, I guess."

"Come on! Stop being boring! I'm sure we can find some fun things to do while they're gone." Aunt Carol complained.

"Can we get ice cream?" I questioned, realizing how much of a child I sounded like.

"As much as you want." Was her reply, and I agreed to come down.

*Time skip*

"Well, I'll miss you hen." Piper said, hugging me.

"I'll miss you too." I said.

"See you in two weeks." She said, turning around.

She was about to start running until I yelled. "Wait! I've got something for you."

She took the small box from me and opened it, revealing the small silver chain necklace with a small dark blue crescent pendant with streaks of white.

"It's beautiful." She said in awe, putting it around her neck.

"Have fun." I said, hugging her one more time.

"Bye Henry." She said quietly, hugging me before walking of for real this time.

I waved as I watched the cruise slowly leave, just as I would do when it came back in two weeks.
