Sophie's POV

When I woke up I went down for breakfast and was halfway down the stairs when I heard Fitz's panicked transmission.

A/N Fitz is Italic, Sophie is underline

Come to Everglen quick Sophie!  The Neverseen are here!

I'm on my way!  I grabbed Sandor, and hurriedly teleported to Everglen.  When I arrived I heard laughing and saw Fitan and Alvar in the shade of the trees.  When I looked closer I saw that there was another hodded figure behind them.

"You are so predictable," Fitan laughed as Sandor rushed toward Fitan and bounced off what looked like a force field.  He got up and reluctantly came back toward us.

"How did you survive?" Fitz asked angrily, a melder already in his hand, and pointed at Alvar.

"Why should I tell you?" Alvar sneered as the hooded figure shot four silver darts at us.  They came streaking in, quicker than I could process.  I tied to dodge it but somehow veered toward me and hit me straight in the arm.

Pain exploded in my arm as Fitan laughed.  My vision was dimming, but I saw that Percy and Annabeth had destroyed their darts.  I saw Fitz on the other side and realized he also got hit.

I was just about to ask Sandor to help me get up when I heard the whistle of darts and another dart exploded in my leg.  The pain was so unbearable that I went into my mind and followed a trail of warmth that led into a nook and passed out.

When my eyes fluttered open I saw a blinding light cut into my brain like a knife.  I heard the door open and saw someone looking at me.

"Can you hear me?" he asked, "Nod or transmit if you can."  I nodded my head.  He sighed in relief, opened the cork of the bottle, and told me to open my mouth.  I opened my mouth and as soon as the cold liquid hit my mouth my eyesight cleared and I saw Elwin, Grady, Edaline, Alden, Della, and a lot more family.  Both Grady and Edaline rushed toward me and strangled me in a hug.

"We're so glad your back," whispered Edaline.

"I'm glad I'm back," I said as Grady pulled out a bright blue lump, "Thanks."

"Ok, as much as I don't want to break up this happy family reunion I really do have to give Sophie her medicine," interrupted Elwin as he came with a tray filled with at least a hundred elixirs.  I groaned internally as I grabbed the bottle and drank it.  It tasted like gooey cheese mixed with spoiled milk.

After a long half-hour of drinking absolutely disgusting elixirs, and Elwin flashing different colored lights in my face I had finished all of his tests.  I looked over at the other bed and saw Fitz lying peacefully in the bed next to me.

"Is he going to be okay?" I asked as Elwin put away the tray.

"He'll be fine," he said, "He was in a little bit better condition than you were."  I sighed in relief as Elwin asked me, "I know you don't want to take a sedative, but the stuff I gave you will be hard on you and I don't know what that will affect."

"How long will it take for me to walk?" I asked.

"Well, if you want the truth it will be close to a month," he said as I reached for the sedative and chugged it down.

"A month!?" I practically yelled.  I saw Fitz stirring and quieted my voice.  "Why would it be that long?  They were just darts." I said.

"They weren't regular darts," he explained, "They had something in it that made all of your insides collapse and it kept spreading until I flashed light on it.  So I'll ask again, do you want the sedative?"  I looked wearily at the sedative and considered my options.  I grabbed the bottle, opened the lid, and chugged it down until there was nothing.

"Good girl Sophie," Elwin said as I closed my eyes.

I was about to respond but the sedative kicked in and I fell into a dreamless sleep.

Fitz's POV

Voices, lights, crying.  I tried to open my eyes but a searing light came across my skull and closed my eyes.  I was just about to try and open my eyes again when I heard Sophie's transmission: I'm glad your here.

I smiled and transmitted, "Me too."  As soon as I sat up I saw Elwin rush toward me and push me back down.

"You shouldn't be sitting up yet," he scolded and flashed so many lights that I swore I was going to be color blinded.  Then to finish it off for being the worst Elwin visit he handed me a tray filled with more bottles than I could count.

I groaned, "Was this how it was for you?" I asked.

"Yep!  except I probably had a couple more," she responded.  I looked at the tray and decided not to be a baby about it and slowly made my way through it.  I looked at the sparkly pink one and as soon as I drank it I felt like I would throw up but Sophie tossed a prattles box on the tray.

"Nice throw!" I said as I opened the box and ate a handful of them.  I gave them back to her and asked, "Do you want the prattles?" I looked inside the box and exclaimed, "It's the Alicorn one!"

"You can have it," she said, modestly.

"It's fine I already have a ton of rare ones so you can have one rare one," I said.  She smiled and put the alicorn pin on her bandages.

"Happy?" she said as I drank another elixir. I nodded and I finally asked what I was hoping was true.

"Did the Neverseen get captured?" I asked tentatively.  She nodded, sending her blonde hair swirling around her.  She looked amazing in the red outfit she had managed to put on while I was still in a horrible looking tunic with boobries on it.

She nodded and the breath I had been holding was released as I relaxed.  She then launched into how they had got captured.

"Wow," I said, "I'm really glad Percy and Annabeth were there.  I'm sure we would have been dead if it weren't for them."

"Me too," Sophie said as Elwin came in and broke the bad news.

"I know your itching to ask the question so I'll answer it for you," he said, "You have to stay here for a month."
