~ "Y/N? What's going on?" Kuroo asked as he leaned against his door frame.
The girl standing outside his house nervously fiddled her hands, "I need advice on something. Can I come in?"
He stepped aside so that she could walk in and he closed the door as soon as she sat on his couch.
"Do you need water or anything? You look scared." He lightly laughed.
"No, I just need advice. I wasn't going to ask you but then I realized I don't really talk to anyone at Nekoma besides you and Kenma and I certainly talk to Kenma about this." She told him.
He rose an eyebrow, "Huh? Why not? You are and Kenma like-"
"Shush!" She interrupted him before sighing, "I know that asking someone out shouldn't really be hard, especially since I know that Kenma likes me and wants to be official but everytime I get the urge to tell him, I start to panic inside and I end up saying something else. Saying he gets disappointed is an understatement."
Kuroo sat next to her, "Honestly, the most I can say is to stop being a pussy and just ask him out. You already know he's not gonna say no so I really don't understand why you're putting so much pressure on yourself. Just get it over with. I know Kenmas probably suffering on the inside even if he says he doesn't care."
"Yeah you're right. I just need to find the right time. Timing is absolutely everything."
He smirked, "How bout the next time you're fucking, instead of moaning his name, you say 'let's go out' instead?"
She frowned, "Now I see why you don't have a girlfriend."
His jaw dropped, "What's that supposed to mean?!"
"Nothing. You're just an idiot."
"Would an idiot be passing chemistry? Didn't think so." The captain proudly stated.
"Oh, so you're just a dorky idiot." She replied.
He frowned, "Why does Kenma even like you?"
She smiled, "Cause I'm cute with an amazing personality and great at sex. What's not to like?"
He leaned back, "Well, I guess I can't deny that you're cute. You have an annoying personality though. I'm also not sure what you're like in bed but I would love to find out if you'd give me the chance to."
"Oh shut up."
"I'm always one call away if you ever-"
A sudden knock came to his door and he looked at her with a confused face.
"What? Were you not expecting company?" She asked.
"No? I would say it's probably Bokuto but he usually just walks in when he comes over." He said as he stood up and walked towards the door.
When he opened it, Kenma walked in, his face stuck on his game boy, "Hey, are you busy?"
He looked up and saw Y/N sitting on the couch. He stared at her for a second before looking at Kuroo.
"Me and her were just talking." Kuroo told him.
"Yeah right." The setter mumbled before walking right back out.
Y/N quickly got up and went to go after him but Kuroo grabbed her arm, "What just happened."
"Kenma doesn't want me around you alone anymore. He doesn't trust you." She quickly told him before letting herself go from his grasp and chasing after Kenma.
Once she reached him, she grabbed his hoodie, stopping him as he let out an irritated groan,
"Where are you going? You're not even gonna tell me hi?" She said.
He turned around and looked at her, "I told you I don't want you with him alone. You said okay. Why are you with him alone?"
"I was just asking him a question! Nothing happened! Like I said, trusting his is one thing, trusting me is another." She argued.
"Really? Nothing happened? He didn't flirt with you or anything?"
"Uh..." She slowly trailed off since she technically couldn't say he didn't.
He rolled his eyes, "Exactly my point."
"Kenma I swear I was just asking him a question!" She pleaded.
Kenma shoved his hands in his pockets, "Okay? What were you asking him that you couldn't ask me?"
The girl stood there, looking at the ground. Her brain kept saying "just do it" over and over again but in the end, she didn't listen.
"I can't say." She whispered.
"Fine. Until you're ready to finally talk to me, I don't want you around me or texting me." He replied.
She looked at him with a shocked look, "Kenma! Look I swear-"
"I'm serious."
Was all he said before walking back to his house, getting away from her and not letting her say anything else.
