~ "Kenma!" Y/N chimed as she wrapped his arm around his after she finally found him, "Are we staying or going for lunch?"

He took her arm off his,"I um, I think i'm probably gonna hang out with Lev. Sorry." He said and left.

She blinked.

Lev?

Did she just get blown off for Lev?

Never saw that coming.

Her phone chimed and once checking the notification, her confusion went into a happy state as she rushed to find Kuroo.

The third year was outside talking with Yaku before she politely interrupted the two and took Kuroo away.

"Guess what!" She beamed, "The seller of the game console we got Kenma is dropping it off at my place in an hour! I mean, we'll still be here so I told them to just leave it on the door step! They've been very sweet and understanding actually. I'm gonna leave them a good review!"

He laughed, "Ok that's perfect! I'll stop by the store later and pick up the game. And while I'm at it, I'll be sure to get the rest of the things I needed."

Y/N was basically bursting with excitement as she squealed, "I'm so excited! I seriously feel like i'm gonna explode. I love birthdays! Tomorrow is gonna be perfect! Kenma will be so surprised!"

"He sure will be. I've made strict precautions with the team so none of them would spill to Kenma what we're doing. Also, how is the whole console and decorations thing gonna work? If we're having the party at my place and you have basically everything?"

She hummed for a second, "Um, just come pick them up tonight! I know Kenma wants to come over tomorrow so we'll stay at my place until everything is ready which should be no later than 6 pm! And Im serious Kuroo!"

"Okay, okay! I get it! Hey, where is Kenma anyway?" He finally asked, not having seen his friend or heard from him in a while,

"He's with Lev. Or at least, that's what he told me."

"Huh? Lev? That doesn't sound like Kenma."

She laughed, "Yeah well, I don't know. He's been off with me ever since yesterday. He takes forever to reply to me and when he does, he responds with bland answers. And I tried to kiss him this morning but he just pushed me away and went to class. Do you know what's wrong?"

Kuroo only shrugged, "Beats me. I haven't heard from him in days. I'm used to it but he usually sends me like a thumbs up or something to let me know he's still alive."

"Hm, well maybe tomorrow will lift his spirits! Also thanks so much again for helping me with this. I really appreciate it!" She gave him a hug, "Youre a really great friend."

A hint of blush spread across his face and he hugged her back, "Anytime!"

He pulled away and smiled at her, "Be sure to tell Kenma that I deserve to be his best man at your guys' wedding."

She softly punched his arm, "Duh."

Nini has been taking a whole bunch of photos of the two ever since she pulled him away.

Her plan is now set to come to an end.

Meanwhile, Kenma was looking visible upset to Lev.

Lev had stayed quiet but began to feel bad, "Why're you so depressed today?"

Just heading his voice irked the setter.

But,

It's not like he had anyone else to talk to about this,

He sighed, "I think Y/N's cheating on me with Kuroo."

Let's eyes widened.

He was definitely not expecting that.

"Huh? With Kuroo?! What makes you say that!?"

"Because! Because they've both been acting really shady and secretive! And she leaves me to be with him and hides her messages with him! What else would they be doing!?"

The middle blockers jaw dropped.

Of course he knew the reason to all of this but he was told that if he said anything, he would surely get his ass beat.

So, he just nervously laughed, "You shouldn't think such bad things! I'm sure they have a completely good reason for doing all this! Not everything secretive needs to be bad."

Kenma frowned.

Hearing that come from Lev of all people did not make him feel better at all.

"I just don't trust this. Everything that she's been doing has literally spelled cheater." He murmured.
