~Being cross faded is probably what was saving Kenma right now.
He feels quite literally nothing.
He was laying on the floor of his room, just staring at the ceiling as he heard the front door open and close.
"Moms gone." He whispered to himself.
Then, a sudden knock came to his bedroom door, "Kenma? Can I come in?"
He blinked as he turned his head to his door, "Huh? What? Oh sure."
His door slowly opened, revealing Nini with her school bag. Getting a sniff of whatever he was doing, she coughed, "Oh god. That's strong."
"What are you doing here?" The setter questioned, slowly sitting up.
Her eyebrow rose, "You texted me? You said you wanted to finish the project. You're mom let me in on her way out."
"Oh."
Her lips formed a thin line and she sat next to him, "So judging by how awful you look, I'm guessing you and Y/N are over?"
He let out a laugh and took a sip from his opened beer, "Oh yeah. One day we were happy and then the next, poof! I'm such a dick."
She hummed and pointed at beer carrier, "Can I?"
"Go ahead."
Grabbing one and opening it, she began to drink with him, "So it was your fault?"
"Uh our fault. You sent me those photos which made it totally look like she was cheating. Which she wasn't. And it's my fault for believing you and going crazy on her."
"Ah. Well, I'm sorry."
He scoffed, "Yeah right. This is what you wanted."
"Well yeah but, seeing you like this makes me feel bad. I really do feel awful Kenma. Should I talk to her?"
"If you try talking to her she'd probably just beat your ass."
"Oh."
Kenma sighed, "Either way, it doesn't matter. She won't care what anyone has to say. Let's just get our shit done and over with."
